It's a huge task and unfortunately I have been held back by a lame computer. I tried to crack the vigenere by paper and pen but... I have sheets of notes but it's not tied together properly. Unfotunately I will be out until this evening and I guess today is the last chance saloon.

Does anyone have all the cipher? Without it no one is going to get their hands on that rather spiffy prize which is the painting Ofiuco has just posted above.

OMG I thought I'd wake up today and this would all be solved. I think this has something to do with fixing his face.

Re the grave if this is what you need:
It must have something to do with the last line that is blurry. The word "star" is very prominent however so it must have something to do with the rabbit in the field with the eye poked out. I asked my nephew who is an astronomer about that and he said there is no star in that area. So it must point to FFE-Y-T's name (and that could be just Forest or Frederick or Edward etc) or one of his code names. Or it could be arneb or mu leporis. I think also one of his code names was seahorse but perhaps that is farfetched since that never came up anywhere in the game.

I will go back to trying to figure out how to use this cipher but I tried and tried and tried and got nowhere so... Also I have given up looking for the symbols.
