On the "town of Wilmot":
"Rochester died at High Lodge in Woodstock on the 26th July 1680 (He had been appointed Ranger of Woodstock Forest by Charles II). It is commonly assumed that Rochester died from syphilis"
where Winston Churchill was born

Interesting note:
"In 2004, Johnny Depp starred in The Libertine - a film version of the poet's debauched life."
A very dark film indeed.

Anyways, how shall we bring others into this? Hopefully, some who have been here before will speak up again...
I have told pretty much everyone I think who would be interested in this and had about one person say they will look. I find it hard to explain how interesting, challenging and enlightening this ARG can be.
To most, I think it just sounds like hard work.
Mind you we have a good team here all good to go again.
As soon as I saw the tweet about Rochester I was hoping it was John Wilmot

Let me guess, the three letters are A, R, and G?

Based on what you said Ofiuco maybe the station Forest needs is Argyle Street Station in Glascow (AGS)

Train tickets
Dear friend,
We have now been given a black ticket. We await which station to go to though:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/whiterabbit2011/5806635600/
We're packed. We watched The Prisoner and know the importance of being prepared! Our ticket will be stamped at the station on Father's instructions - we are to follow the steps he indicates only.
Until the correct station is found though, and 'you will know when by its three letters', we will not move - The highlands are a big place! Cooler temperatures up here, especially as we feel like a man from yesterday with the continuing changes in the environment.
Please, help us find the station so we can move on...
Forest.
There's a picture of what the blank ticket looks like too on Flickr.

An interesting match-

Don't have time to look into this.
Edit: Think I got it, pia you were close. Not Argyle(AGS) but Arisaig which has the train code ARG. Still need confirmation from Forest though...

From The Prisoner reference I found this, Inverlair Lodge, also called "the cooler"

Note the missing letters are mostly vowels:

Any ideas on deciphering this clue? (No anagrams found.)

We head from www.theunmutual.co.uk/inverlair.htm for en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arisaig_railway_station, then Glasgow. Father has activated within us something to make use of wireless frequencies. We should be able to project, as it were, thoughts rather than rely upon a computer.
This is yet to be tried.
We will discover once we are at the station.
Thank you so far... We will be once again in touch shortly...
Maybe he is still learning how to project his thoughts? His tweet has fewer "*"s than when he wrote about the the plane ticket on Flickr

I don't believe it's a clue, merely a representation of Forest's issues with learning how to project his thoughts.

He only seems to be having problems with his "e"s now I'm very happy Father was able to fix his voice. (and that he is alive!! I was thinking he might have died actually.)

Might it be worth creating a new thread with a link to this one - it may attract new people and make things a little clearer?
Just a thought before this gets hectic because we are up to 30 pages now...
I keep intending to summarise Chapter 1 on the wiki but never seem to get round to it.
