Re: P.M.

To help clarify, perhaps:

Last night he tweeted
Quote:
Laying bricks, this primed man fought against the darkness. For now, this rabbit merely follows orders from the PM,but come 26th, its your turn

So thinking perhaps the curtain had parted for a moment and that his PM referred to Puppet Master... OR that the PM might be Prime Minister, I sent
Quote:
And all along we (or at least me) thought you were the PM. OTOH, I can think of at least 2 meanings for 'PM' - hmmm...

Early this morning I found this Tweet on my cellphone
Quote:
We are no more a Prime Minister than you a loyal servant…
Curiously, this one never appeared online, so either lost or more likely he changed his mind and deleted it!

Shortly thereafter came this one which you all saw
Quote:
Just two?The gauntlet will be heavy for you I fear. Think more outside the box: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P.M. Do not worry-yet

As the M there was outside the URL, I thought it was a typo (Wikipedia link to P) since the thread had been about PM.

@mycroft:

Yeah realized that later, I guess I shouldn't have been posting that early in the morning.

Anyways I was looking at the posts and I think if we interpret 131 to be 1:31 then the wiki link is simply telling us that the time is more accurately 1:31 P.M. on Alphabet day/day of water running in the street/ YT's death day/ Saturday the 26th.

Yes. I asked about Paris' metro system, so he was responding to that. However, he had trouble (typos and such) with several of the tweets and had to re-tweet them. So, the mistakes were fixed, and now all tweets should be correct.

Ignore most of the back and forth between me and him last night about AI and such - I fear it might be somewhat off topic.

He seems to have updated this to a Terry Pratchett quote:

Quote:
Build a man a fire and he will be warm for a day; set him on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

Bit different from Shelley poetry Smile

Ahh, so Terry Pratchett reused it, and now has been attributed all over the internet for the same quote.

Anyhoo, I've had contact via email. Thinking it was a TP quote I sent one of my own:

Quote:
Dear Forest Frederic Edward Yeo-Thomas [and friends],

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

[This next bit - from the last unfinished poem of Shelley, which was edited by his wife post death - was coded in Base64, but have left it uncoded here for you]
Thick strewn with summer dust, and A great stream of people there was hurryIng to and Fro, numeRous as gnats upon the evenIng glEam, all hasteNing onwarD, yeT none seemed to know Whither he went, or whenCe he came, or why he made One of the MultitudE, and so was borne amid The crowd, as tHrough thE sky one of thE million leaves of Summer's bier; old age and youTH, maNhood and infancY xXx

Within that is the message "A friend come the twentysixth" but I didn't stick strictly to his code system - it was slightly out of order due to the passage I selected.

In response I got:

Quote:
Lucy

Initially, you seem confused: taifriendtwcometheesthny *
But thank you for mentioning the triumph of life - it will be important, and not just for you, gauntlet raiser...

F.F.E.Y.-T.

So, note to self, do not mess with the code! Smile

I asked in an e-mail if backwards meant go back to Edwin Hubble and if he refered to "Darkness" by Lord George Byron.

Quote:
Someone understands that things don't always just lie in a simple line, but reflect back and forth. Good. Shelley understood this. Byron didn't.
Wait for the alphabet day, but share your ideas with others, help them see the circle not just the circumference.

The Hubble is a reflecting telescope, other than that IDK.

Was it said something would happen on the 26th of "February" or left open to which month?

Old Permic Alphabet Day is celebrated on 26th April http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Permic_Alphabet_Day

There are a couple other types of Alphabet Days but not that fall on the 26th, so I think we might have to wait a bit longer - he has kept saying he's just gathering in preparation a this point.
