The camera shows Jessica at all times, with only incidental distortion at key points when she speaks or does certain things, which is more likely to be related to the proximity of/ the disturbance of the Operator. Based on this, it's highly unlikely she's an illusion.


You're on to something here. This explains why Jay and Alex always had a camera nearby; it was the only way to pierce Slendy's illusion. Without filming, they'd be screwed. That's why Alex gets so pissy in Entry 9 when Seth reveals he turned the camera off. It left him open to our wiry friend.

 		next entry could possibly show jay and jessica interacting during that 7 month period...i will be surprised if she's just a random person.

this is kind of a mix of theories from two args, but maybe the disappearance of jessica is related to how M in the Tutorial says that the slender man takes out anyone who means anything to his victim, or is in the way. this would suggest that someone other than the operator (and possibly against the operator's wishes) put jessica and jay in the hotel together.

As much as it'd be kinda cool to see some shared canon between Marble Hornets and other Slenderman blogs/ARGs/what-have-you, the creators of MH have stated unequivocally that Marble Hornets does not take any of the other blogs out there as canon themselves. It's therefore unlikely that they'd have taken concepts from another ARG to work into Marble Hornets!

It seems too soon for Jessica to show up. I suspect the next entry will be:

A) Jay talking to Alex about where he's been and what he did in #35 (if they truly hadn't met up before)
B) A small detail that sets us up for a bigger and better later entry.
C) A slenderoperator sighting

I dunno, it just seems like having Jessica show up so soon would be progressing the story too quickly.

yeah, makes sense actually. but i still think she'll show up again. (unless the reason she's gone is because of a conflict with the actor)

My guess: footage of Jay driving, following on from end of entry 35. Jay gets home and exits the car, taking the camera with him. We see Alex was riding in the passenger seat, and he steps out too. They move to the back of the car and open the trunk, in which they have deposited a bound and gagged Tim...

 		Seeing as Slenderman has the ability to grow and stuff, who's to say he can't seperate part of him, grow it back, then turn that into a person?

Then he was going to use it to lead J into a trap, but Masky killed her/it and attacked J, because he wants something from him.

Ahhh, the Maijin Buu way of becoming two things at once. interesting theory, just dont know if they would go that far out with this. but u never know

My theory on the whole Jessica thing is that she is someone Jay met briefly, hence why she thinks his name sounds familiar or he himself is familiar. Remember back to entry whosawhats it where Alex is filming Brian- there is some girl talking to them off camera, potentially Jessica. Jess could've gotten involved the same time Brian went caput' and shes in the same boat as Jay now running/being used/etc. Also someone may want to go back and do some photo editing of a still frame from the entry where Jay wakes up Jess due to the noises. Pretty sure we see slendy sitting on the end of her bed through the lightly cracked door. Actually i'll go ahead and do some research and get back to you guys on that.
