I think what is "wrong" with Slendy right now is kinda twofold.

(Note I really mean the vlogs, because I don't really pay attention to the blogosphere much, outside knowing the Core Theory is stupid)

1. We've defined Slender Man. He messes with cameras, he stalks people, he has tentacles. He never actually makes a move, though. We need a slender man that actually fights. In all of the vlogs, the creepiness is really coming from the third party(TTA/HABIT/Observer/whateverthefuck), not Slendy. The protagonists themselves start to worry about the third parties more because Slendy does nothing(Recent evidence: Entries 30-35, the whole Rake debacle). I think the most damning thing in EMH was during the "december" video, when they just casually mention "OH HEY YEAH SLENDY'S ON MY PORCH WHATEVS".

2. They jump into Slender Man too early. The reason that TT and MH got to pass straight into Slender Man territory is because they came first. EMH--arguably the most popular of the three, going by the board here--didn't start with the Slender Man. I mean, yes, he was there, but it was focusing on the fitness show. Only after they had the characters established did they move onto the actual show. Look at theoriginalaliendude(I would argue the best of the post-TT vlogs)--it didn't even have the Slender Man show up until like 20 videos in.
