I really don't think Alex is dead. Let's not forget that in the grand scheme of things, the entire point of this series is finding out what happened to Alex.

Stab him in the leg? He didn't realize there was a giant ass rock there but he needed something to subdue Tim. He had a knife for sure, so he decided to use that instead.

And to the Tim screaming thing, why is it so hard to believe that's Tim screaming. That sounds exactly like a guy screaming in pain.

He was already tied up with cord and there were two people in the room. He wasn't going anywhere. Alex was acting in malice, I think that was meant to be made clear. And I respectfully disagree with you and everyone who think that sounds like a person screaming in pain. For one, it doesn't have a start. Secondly, they are screaming the whole entry, but that noise fucks with the cameras mic. Just listen to it a few times thinking about it not being Tim screaming.

He couldn't risk Tim breaking through the cords, so he broke his leg. It doesn't have a start? I'm listening to it again, and it definitely has a start. It sounds like a male voice screaming.

You know what, I'll just post my whole theory again and then I'm going to sleep.

My Theory Chronology:

- Entry 34
- Jay leaves house, probably returns several more times.
- Jay somehow finds Alex at some point.
-Entry 35: Alex tells Jay to explore the house again, which Jay thinks is pointless since he knows there's nothing in there. Exasperated, he asks Alex what he's supposed to be seeing. Alex walks in and immediately sees Masky hiding. Jay and Alex subdue him, and Alex wants to stop Tim from following them by stabbing him in the leg or something. Jay assumes the worst and thinks Alex is trying to kill Tim. Alex gives up on JAy and simply picks up a giant rock and throws it onto Tim's leg. Tim screams in pain.
-Jay is obviously sad while driving away. Whether Alex is still with him is unknown.
- noentry: At some point, Tim heals his leg and comes back to kill Alex for revenge, knocks out Jay at the same time and straps camera onto him. Jay follows trail of blood (Alex's blood) and encounters The Operator.
- Jay loses all of his memories due to this encounter.
- Masky and/or the Operator places him in the hotel with Jessica and places the tapes in the safe.
- Entry 33: Masky returns and shows Jay the tapes. He also has a limp from the rock falling on his leg.
- He posts "Fragments" on Youtube to show that he has killed Alex.

Done. Smile

We still have a major plothole of how Jessica is met and where she is taken after #33. I dont think anyone has an idea on how she will fit in.

Also, I get the feeling this lack of info is mainly based from Alex, thats why he always seems so BA and in control.

Jessica is so freaking random, and doesn't fit with anything we know about MArble Hornets. That's why she's so interesting.

Actually I think that noise you're hearing is Alex's foot hitting something. His leg moves just as the sound happens.

Jessica has to be another awkward wheel like J who was never informed of anything but ended up getting dragged in. Jessica just never made a youtube account about it.

And we find out alex is dead because the Operator or Tim killed him. Now JAy is next. :O Series will end with the Operator killing Jay and picking up the camera and "looking" straight at the viewers.

J has been trying to figure out what happened to Alex all of this time and when he sees footage of them finally meeting up he ISN'T going to post it? Just because something is shocking doesn't make it good storytelling. Maybe they are just trying to shock us with this one but I feel like there's more to it than that. You have to remember that J is a character and one of his wants is to piece together what happened to Alex not to shock and satisfy the people subscribed to his Youtube channel.

I'm a bit curious about the distortion during what I assume to be Tim's screams. Does anybody else think those are extra creepy and inhuman for a reason?

I could see how that would work. But I do believe he's talking to Alex in the same way that in this scenario: Let's say you've lost your keys. You've check the living room ten times. You ask your wife "Where the hell are the keys?!" She says, "In the living room."
You love her, you trust her, but right now you're mad and think the bitch is crazy. So you say, "WHERE IS IT?!" She points to the keys sitting on top of the TV.

I can kinda see that, but the biggest difference is that keys are inanimate objects, and Tim is a living dude who can move around and whatnot. Alex couldn't know that Tim was in the closet there if they had just arrived- and for the people saying that Alex suddenly "saw" him there and told Jay, it doesn't make sense. Jay was looking right into the room when Alex calls to him, there's no way Alex saw something Jay's camera didn't. He was completely out of sight in the closet. The only scenario I can imagine is that Alex followed Tim there and knew he was in the closet. Maybe he knew Jay would come and waited for him to arrive so they could take him together, maybe he was waiting to ambush Tim and Jay just happened to get there. I don't know. But it doesn't seem like they arrived at the same time.

Yeah, this is the way of the series to start moving towards J getting his answers and moving on from Alex, getting on to his own life's problems.

Distortion appears to happen with everyone who's been stalked by Slendy for an extended period of time. It's pretty normal by now.
