Yes, but remember, this time around, some of the tapes are labeled. I think Jay would tell us whether or not this is on an unmarked tape. Which I think supports the theory that this video was taped over driving footage.


Yeah, thats true, hopefully the possible tape over is explained further though.

Wait, no, that answers the question as to why it just cuts to driving! He had no more tapes, but needed to get this on tape... so he taped over a video of him driving! Meaning this video could be VERY late in the 7 months! That's why it seems like he's already met up with Alex even though there hasn't been a video of them meeting for the first time! AGH IT MAKES SENSE NOW

Hmm... Although interesting I do have to ask, J clearly didn't expect to find anything when he went into the house- why would he feel the need to get it on camera?


Maybe he wanted to get loudly frustrated before turning the camera on himself and flipping the person who sent that tape off.

I would think Alex made him turn it on. Alex seemed certain something was there.

 		I didn't read -every- single post in this thread, but I did read most. So pardon me if this has already been brought up.

But one possible explanation for the people claiming that it's weird that Alex was absent for the first minute, and showed up abruptly is that they arrived separately. What it seemed like to me is that Jay and Alex arranged to meet at the place, Alex arrived first, well ahead of Jay. Jay gets there, goes inside to look around. Figures Alex is nearby, so starts calling for him, sort of. Meanwhile, Alex is outside the house, as he's been observing Tim through one of the windows (or listening to him, or something) while waiting for the Jay-cavalry to show up. That's why Alex comes in from outside so far into the video, and knows which room Tim is in.

And, I think you guys might be overthinking why Jay was reluctant to upload this. I mean, there's justifiable self defense, and then there's tying a guy up and breaking his legs with a rock. Were this real, what Alex did to Tim would've been pretty seriously criminal. I think that's what made Jay hesitate.

 		Some thoughts:

J is going through the tapes in order, which means this is his second visit to the shack at least. I think the reason he's loudly stating his frustration is because Alex told him to go back and is keeping watch outside. Now, why did Alex make him go back? Did he know Tim would be there?

Also, as stated above, it looks like he's taping over footage of him driving (it seems more likely than him editing it like that), which tells us either that he's not as anal as Alex about recording everything or he had his plans disrupted and had to tape over stuff he wouldn't otherwise have.

-Hmm new entry, rather short one. Confused
-Huh revisits the house, cool Smile
-Whow, Jay genuinely frustrated and angry Surprised
-ALEX! Surprised
-MASKY!!! Surprised
-FACE REVEAL!!!!! (though we all knew it was Tim this is till something) Surprised
-Why does Alex want the knife... nah he can't WTF ROCK, SMASH...
-... Shocked ...


I mean, damn, can you pack more crowning moments of awesome into a video just a little over 2 minutes long?


EDIT: BTW, not sure if this was mentioned but in Entry 29, when listening to the audio maybe to hear what is said, it did seem to me like there were 2 people talking, the pitches of the sounds did seem like two distinct voices. Now it's quite possible that it was Jay and Alex and it was just some camera trickery that kept him off screen the whole time.
Maybe he waited outside the tunnel, that would also explain why the "voices" sounded so different. It does kinda sound like one person is speaking from further away from the camera than the other.

Yes indeed - in fact, as far as I can tell it would be possible for him to either raise his legs to protect his head, or kick out at Alex to knock him off-balance as he was dropping the rock. Either way could have meant his legs got hit instead of his head.

Incidentally, did anyone see if the cord was lying around when Jay entered the building, or did Jay or Alex bring it with them? If the latter, I think it's pretty strong evidence that Jay and Alex met prior to this and came up with a plan - especially since they co-operate pretty effectively until Alex starts getting kill-happy.

 		I always took Jay's rage talk as him taking the return address as a deliberate clue from masky/tta/whoever and was clearly frustrated that it led no where. Alex's tone of surprise also leads me to believe they were there for reasons unrelated to each other.

Also I found it funny that Alex shushes Jay as he loudly kicks something metal and right after Jay had a rage fit

Woah! Good catch. I wonder what's in there?

My guess: a copy of the Marble Hornets shooting script. Or at least Tim's parts of the script. Possibly densely, densely annotated.

With the broken leg theory, does anyone else have the mental image of Masky laid up at home with a broken leg, with a frowny face and a little tear drawn on his mask and Slendy bringing him his hot chocolate and stuffed rabbit?

Jay had been tweeting and posting videos saying "lol guys I lost my memory" before then so I think he'd have some way of knowing.

Plus the mask isn't necessarily a purely practical item. Maybe Tim just likes the mask. Maybe it feels more like his real face than that weak flesh that covers his skull.

I said it, but it bears repeating. Broken nose, smashed-out teeth, perhaps even worse injuries - Tim may very well not be much of a looker these days.

Hmm. The picture-pieces in Fragments covered all of Alex's face except the nose. If Tim is TTA, maybe he's pissed at what Alex did to his beautiful face and intends to repay Alex several times over.

Or maybe he already has and he wants Jay to know that. Perhaps the point of that message was "Alex represented your best chance of working out what was going on and getting your life back. He's gone now. Deal with it."

Orrrrr... maybe the "you" in the TTA video doesn't refer to one person, but a group? Maybe it's collectively addressing Alex, Jay, and anyone else they got in on their Slendybusters crew? Perhaps something happened to shatter the group so badly that there's no chance in hell of them getting back together again - like one of them betrayed the others so badly that those who survived the betrayal just aren't going to trust each other any more.
