Though of course there's no way J could know that, not until he finishes going through the tapes. Wow, 21 pages of speculation in a few hours, that's got to be a forum record, or close to it. The possibilities about where this could go are endless. I dare anyone to doubt the direction MH takes, ever again.

Can someone give me the gist of the discussion so far?

In all seriousness though, this makes up for the initial slow pace this season! This is the most interesting and exciting addition to the story I've seen since... possibly since the start!

Was certainly not expecting that.
First of all, YEAH Timasky theorists were right! But this opens soo many questions.
I get the feeling that Masky and Alex have met before. And Masky hates (See: running past Jay, "MUST DIEEEE") I don't think Tim is dead, I'm pretty dang sure that's him in 33. So many new questions...
Are we sure the tapes were put in the safe by Masky? I assumed so, but if that's the case then why would he WANT Jay to know who he was?
Also, has Masky ever NOT gotten his ass handed to him :p

Gotta say, I wasn't expecting that.

though it does seem to put a nail in the coffin for my 'Masky has superpowers' theory - not that he's ever been very good at attacking people. Smile

I don't think this is their first meet up, but I do think they probably arrived seperatly.

AAt first I actually thoguht they were deliberatly hunting masky and the frustrated shouting was to lure him out/lull him into a false sense of security.

Possibilities:

-Masky is dead, new Masky in 33
-Masky is injured, hence limp in 33
-Masky survived, Slendy intervened
-Either of the first two, and Slendy intervened

Tim definitely is rasing up hi leg before he gets hit, so I think 2 is the most likely, but I suspect Alex initially wanted to kill him but Jay refusing to give him the knife made him change his mind and he only broke his leg. Or he was aiming for the face but the leg got in the way. I think the noise is a scream mixed with distortion.

On Tim coughing, he WAS behing strangled with cord. Smile

It seems logical to think that Alex would have known about Tim (we see the mask in Entry #26, ("skully") and having a closer look at it just now I'm almost convinced the "teeth" are actually not part of the mask: The eyes and eyebrows are painted in exactly the same way as Tim's mask is here). And remember: Exit.

The camera in #26 was clearly a plant, and it was probably planted by Tim. I think Alex may have worked that out by now, so his reaction towards Tim is perfectly reasonable: He directly endangered Alex and Amy by making Amy inadvertently summon the Operator to their house. And on top of that, Tim just attacked Alex with a knife, it makes sense he'd want to screw his shit up after that.

He probably rocked him because he realised that killing him would be... well, overkill. I suspect J was more reluctant to hurt him because he has less direct reason to be angry at Tim at this point and is more interested in getting answers than giving a beatdown.

As for Alex turning up again, I'm inclined to think that J wasn't expecting him, but since he has no reason up to this point to suspect that Alex is going to hurt him, he's willing to put questions aside once it becomes clear Tim is in the building with them. You can actually hear him saying "Okay, hold on" or possibly "Okay, come on" very quietly after Alex points to the room behind him.
