The way that I think of Alex harming Masky is this: He was friends with Tim. Pretty good friends right? Then he finds out one of his friends is one of the root reasons to the most fucked up part of his life? You damn well bet he's going to be angry. He wanted to harm him because he felt betrayed by a friend.

I think he wanted the camera turned off because well, it's evidence. Even if they went to the police, what would he say? Oh, there's been this tall guy in a suit with no face stalking us and ruining our lives, and this guy might be an accomplice? He wanted to make sure Tim got the message to leave him the hell alone, and that he's sick and tired of what is going on and he just doesn't care to 'play by the rules' anymore (remember the video telling them to 'stay home?') and fight back.

Yeah but I'm pretty sure that if someone just ran around a corner and stabbed you, you'd be pretty fucking pissed regardless of your former relationship with that person.

Besides, we probably aren't going to hear anything about a relationship between Alex and Masky as both parties seem to be pushed out of the series right now, but we won't know for sure until we see more entries.

After months of lurking, and seeing that other people have already stated my theories, I have found something worth both joining the forum and speaking up for. HOPEFULLY no one has said this already (I am not looking through all 53 pages).

In Entry #34, when he gets to the house, it was raining. I know that there was some previous speculation on the whole water in relation to the audio distortion and stuff before.

Of course, there is a great chance that there were other videos Jay didn't post of him going to this house. But in #34, its raining. In previous entries, there's some issues around water. Tim might not have been there then because of it and maybe Jay just had bad timing.

But in Entry #35, it was a fairly clear, dry day. We can't be sure about any videos between Entry #34 and #35, but perhaps that's why Alex showed up in 35 and not 34. Alex must have known Masky was there when its dry, but not when there's water all around and that house has no windows (or a door for that matter).

Just a thought that I probably could have expressed in fewer words. Take it or leave it.

Haven't gone through every post so not sure if this has been answered, but I really wonder how long after Entry 34 that Entry 35 takes place? Like is it a day, an hour, a week? Probably doesn't matter much, but just a curious thought.
