I don't know, I still think someone is creating a trap for someone else. Whether it is the Snow People's influence or someone is a bit crazy, all the references to revenge, misplaced trust and unreliable narrator...

Nonetheless, I have emailed them all with the instructions to go to the lower spiral now, with the instructions from the slate to guide them.

I didn't tell them about the 2nd part of natasha's message (holding the book in the library) as I think we must be very careful about who we choose to tell that to - make sure it is the right person for the job. Who is best trusted aside from Peg?
- Julie?
- Edward?
- Clare/Private?
- Lawrence?
- Natasha?

EDIT - mind you, Ruthie is missing isn't she? Can they do this without her? I think we must find her before it's too late.

We need to find Ruthie. I would lay my money on Clare. She is the only other person I have seen who does not trust the snow people. We cant really be sure about Lawrence. I think we can't put it out for Natasha either, otherwise why would she have asked us to? There must be a reason why she can't do it. I think we have to ask Peg who she trusts. UGH if we choose wrong it could all go so badly... Who was screaming? We need more information. We need to find out what happened last night when Clare went to Peg's, we need to find Ruthie and we need to figure out who we can trust.

I think what with the magical powers of the Snow People, the only safe person is one that isn't affected:
* Clare: runs off to her snow cave, and has had huge mood shifts from scared to party hardy to scared.
* Edward: much as I love drunk Edward, there's no doubt he feels the pull of the snow people.
* Julie: goes past them every day, like a moth drawn to flame.
*Lawrence: haven't heard any odd behaviour from him.
* Fred : goes into full on trances
* Ruthie: total crack pot
* Natasha: most likely dead.
* The Magician: we don't know anything much about him, but perhaps this is what we must find out.

Can anyone else think of a trustworthy resident that is unaffected?

But we also don't know what kind of person he is, or where his loyalties lie, what if he is just watching Peg, reporting back? I would rather put my trust in someone who fears them rather than someone I don't know the true feelings of. I would trust the Magician. I might trust Lawrence if I found out what he thinks of the Snow People. I feel like we could get Edward to do it simply by his curiosity, but that doesn't mean I trust him, and that is what we were asked to base our choice on. I guess I don't really trust any of them but Peg is the problem here... Maybe we can ask how Lawrence feels about the snow people?[/quote]

 		Sunset in Maine on March 3rd is at 17:29 EST. Source. My money is on Claire 'tho will see what the USA & Peg have 2 input. It's a fluid situation atm. Same source shows the rise of the New Moon on Friday, the 4th, at 15:46 local time.(EDIT)
ETA: Maybe cluey to note that the Snow Town library is open on Thurs. until 7pm and closed on Fridays?
