I got another email from Edward, it pretty much just says the same as he's put on the guestbook. I've tried to reason with him, but sober Edward is not much fun!

I walked out on the ice today. It amazes me that I can walk out on ice. Isn't that neat? I don't approve of ice fishing! Fish need time off! It is cold and dark and they're covered with ice and then these rahrah types go out there and coax them to sunlight and kill them! Poor fish! Ruthie told me Louise Hoskins never found the Upper Spiral. She never came back. Louise never came back and William went after her because he LOVED her and they both never returned. If you leave for the Upper Spiral I would come find you. I promise. If Ruthie is lost, I don't think Tom Haynes will go after her. He's not the type. Ruthie would do it for him. Ruthie would probably do it for anyone. People don't realize that about Ruthie. They see her only one way. The only reason she does everything she does is because she loves Snow Town and its citizens. Maybe to the point of making bad choices, but she isn't bad. I know Aunt Peg thinks she killed Natasha Triplet. Ruthie is scary but she wouldn't kill anyone. I mean it. I'm glad she lives in my town. If anyone ever invades us, Ruthie would stop them if we don't have the Snow People anymore. Who would invade us? I don't know, but what if they did? Charles Gulliffer says it could happen. Charles is very smart and also loves gin and tonic. I think I am talking too much, Luci. I better go.

I sent a message to Ruthie before, extending a sort of olive branch to try and talk her out of this:

Whatever happens, we are not your enemies. We only want to try to help Snow Town and its people.

You are a nice person, except for the baby llama stuff. If you're in Snow Town come over to the Library and hang out with me. I have a bottle of gin and plenty of tonic.

And I'm worried she's going to be sacraficed or something to bring the snow people back! I don't want Ruthie to die, even if she is a bad guy...

You don't suck at ARGs at all--and as for not knowing what to do, you're doing exactly what we need! I would offer more help as well, but Peg hasn't answered any of my emails lately :/
