I entered all of the info on the Parcel Vault site and my expected delivery date is March 5, just like everybody else.

I cannot read any of the appendixes/other documents on Jess's profile at uksri.org. It opens the file in a Microsoft Word document but all the characters are odd symbols and gibberish spread out on a lot of pages. Is the content on them important?
They're PDF files and it happens when you open them in Microsoft Word. Try using PDF readers like Adobe Reader or Foxit instead.

Whack-a-Dave super frustrating

I have successfully won the game three times, but because of a "server error" it will not allow me to save the achievement and therefore I cannot access the private files. This is irritating.

It did that to me yesterday, I gave up and tried today and now it works. Maybe try again later?

Has anyone noticed that at the bottom of the UKSRI homepage, next to the Pharmucom logo, it says something about submitting project applications, giving this email: projectsubmissionsSPLATuksri.org? What do you think this is for?

Submitting your creations...the game will have the end result of a crowdsourced novel so it will be things for that I guess. If you read the T&Cs, you'll see they are set up for words, images, video and music all to be submitted to them formally.

Re: Wound Healing cypher code

zampa wrote:
The code at the bottom of the Would Healing document.

There are fourteen pages in the document
And the first part of each set of numbers in the code range from 1 to 14

The second part of each set of numbers go quite high.

So, we're talking about each set of numbers in the code representing a letter, or word on the given page of the document?

When I try this, I get:

joeithfrom do hsiosh

Hmm, make no sense? Perhaps the codes relate not to counted letters on each page, but to counted words....

...what do you get?

I took "joeithfrom do hsiosh" and plugged it into an anagram generator. I didn't look through all of the answers because there were so many, so the only actual sentence I found was

Quote:
If Josh Is Motherhood

Doesn't make much sense, but I only skimmed. I did however see that the name Josh was in many of the results. Do we know of a Josh that is involved in the game? Maybe the remaining letters form his middle and las names? Or maybe more names of different people? Also, someone should try using the code for words and not letters to see what they get.

pharmucom
drugs and what they do

Phenytoin sodium is a commonly used antiepileptic. Phenytoin (fœnit'oin, IPA) acts to suppress the abnormal brain activity seen in seizure by reducing electrical conductance among brain cells by stabilizing the inactive state of voltage-gated sodium channels. Aside from seizures, it is an option in the treatment of trigeminal neuralgia in the event that carbamazepine or other 1st line treatment is deemed inappropriate.

Somatropin
Synthetic Growth hormone (HGH) is called somatropin (British: somatrophin). hGH refers to human growth hormone and is an abbreviation for human GH (Somatotropin) extracted from human pituitary glands. In 1985, biosynthetic human growth hormone replaced pituitary-derived HGH for therapeutic use in the U.S. and elsewhere. Biosynthetic human growth hormone, also referred to as recombinant growth hormone, is also called somatropin and abbreviated as rhGH. Since the mid-1990s the abbreviation HGH has begun to carry paradoxical connotations, and now rarely refers to real GH used for indicated purposes. See articles on GH treatment and hGH quackery for fuller discussions of GH therapy and the HGH issue.

On the Research areas of pharmucom http://www.pharmucom.com/research_areas.html

the drugs above have been muddled up. Essentially Phenytoin is an anti convulsent whereas Somatropin is a Growth Hormone. Is this just a mistake or a misdirect, perhaps useful to note?

Re: LSD Trials/MKULTRA
Only speculating

MKULTRA was an illegal CIA human research program, including LSD tests with unwitting persons.

Jessica has stored the MKULTRA file under "secret" - why that? The project dates back to the 1950s, and most information has been declassified, including the document she stores online.

So maybe she didn't want others to know that she keeps herself busy with it, but why? Was she kidnapped (by the CIA?), because she found out something about human subject research at UKSRI or pharmucom, maybe using her formula?

Obviously she didn't want that her formula gets into the wrong hands.
