Got a small water color in the mail
I just got a painting in the mail. Trying to get images up but I'm away from my gadgets so it's taking awhile.
Here's the info:
Addressed to me, in NH. Return address is ALSO me, in NH. Addresses are handwritten in ballpoint pen, different hands.
The card is about 3x5 and looks like it has a thin red border about a millimeter in from the edge.
One side is reddish earth tones, solid color but brushstrokes visible
The other side is blue and green with a blue eye-like symbol.
Nothing else was in the envelope!
Any ideas?

You might want to try looking at the card under a UV light.
I remember someone recently getting a card with hidden text, but I think he lived in the UK...

Thanks, UV light is a great idea! I'll find one.
I tried heating it up over a flame to see if there was heat sensitive writing (lemon juice, for example), but no luck. It's postmarked from Feb 22.
I'll let you know about the UV!

I got one too. I've not participated in an arg for over a year. I just lost my RL job on Monday so I thought I'd reconnect with the community. This thing had my totally befuddled. I'm sort of relieved that someone has had a similar experience.
The envelope was pink and contained nothing save for a small postcardsized water color. My name and address was both the address and return address. Post mark is Feb 22 from Erie PA. I'm from Johnstown PA. I really couldn't discern any shapes. Colors were rose orange and green. Let me know if you discover anything.
