Before I get to the bingo sheet, the blog doesn't seem interesting. The latest post is mentioning Candle Cove and black bags already, the one before was a weird dream, and before that was binary. Color me not interested.


NOW THEN - I'm not sure if the whole point of the bingo is to point out clichés, but I just thought I'd try to rationalize some:

>Trying to be Marble Hornets
Isn't every Slenderblog, in a sense, trying to be Marble Hornets? They're all stories about Slenderman and his effects on the characters. There's not really a lot to add to it. Though, if they do add some things to their Slendy story (like EMH), then they shouldn't be called copiers. It's a no-win situation here.

>Visuals going screwy/coughing/Operator symbol/weird dreams
These are all part of the mythos. It's already been established he causes distortions, and someone being perfectly fine with Slendy just... wouldn't work.

>Reference to the original mythos
This is bad... how?

>Story ends with protagonist dead/no main characters ever die
Contradiction, much?

 		The bingo is more a mix of obligatory and bad characteristics. And contradicitons are ok, that way you can't ever win.

I, personally have more of a problem with the difference between wanting to be MH and wanting to be EMH. What would make the second one? Exercise tips? ARGy elements? Posting different stuff in every place you can find?

Anyway, it's just a game to start when you see a new blog that's either just starting or just getting discovered.

I think the "trying to be EMH" part comes when a PM tries to shoehorn as many creepypasta elements into one series as possible.

And I'm not saying that that's bad. I think that people will complain about everything if you give them the chance (see the beginning of TT for emphasis), and I'm going to stand by and say that if it's a slenderseries? I'll give it a shot.
