Hey guys, I'm a dick, but you all love me right?!

What's that?
Let me answer for you? Ok.
Yes? You love me?!
That's great.
Shut up you! You're the only one who doesn't.

I am trying REALLY hard to decode this but i'm not getting anywhere.

Anyway I hope I havent left any bad impressions Embarassed .

Though I have been lurking for awhile I get the impression that maybe more mods are needed/mod powers need to be extended a bit. I heard that its hard to delete a thread here when someone has already posted in it, can that be changed?

Stickthefigure is making a (rightful) differentiation between himself and straight-up trolls. Stick can get, er... sharp with people, but he's not trolling to piss people off. And we all (well, I at least, guess I can't speak for everyone) love him.

And yeah, we sometimes think that adding a new mod to the mix might not be a bad idea.
Maybe miss Dray?

New mod would be a good idea. Dray would be an excellent pick.

I agree, no offensive, but the current mods aren't very active, and the number of daily posts are just too high for inactive mods

I would like to say that these mods are simply overbooked. Active users would be better, more specialized picks.

Agreed. Though I also agree that a new mod or two (someone trustworthy, non-troll should be a given, and dedicated) would be in order, if nothing else then at least to stem the tide of drivel, trolling, and the standard newbie mistake of 'new thread when a discussion already exists' until the average IQ and forum experience of this subforum as a whole is closer to the baseline average of people in general once again (not implying anything about anyone in particular's intelligence, just saying that the trolls and the newbie mistakes kind of make us look less smart as a whole).

You say 'though I also agree,' but then you restated my proposition. What are you also suggesting on top of my statement?

I think almost all problems ((excluding intentional trolls) could be fixed with a "Read Before Posting" topic that detailed traditional board etiquette, do's and don'ts, etc.

Misread your post, I think, sorry.

The best way to deal with trolls and newbie responses is not to respond, that way the troll thread can be deleted and the newbie can be merged without confusion (as merging threads leaves the posts of both mixed together chronologically rather then simply sticking the new one on the end). That said more active mods would be welcome. I don't tend to post unless I think I have something amazing to say but I do come on nearly everyday to see whats new and to be honest everythings got abit messy
