Yeah, I'm learning more and more that trolls are a major issue here. I plan to no longer respond to them, as I am becoming less of a noob.

You're no better than the guy who created this topic, except he's actually friendly and willing to learn from his mistakes instead of intentionally trying to antagonize people and create problems.

Also, I know this is the internet, and we're all mature here - but why don't you actually try a little manners and decorum once every few posts. Slinging around profanities and being generally just rude doesn't make you look cool, and if you plan on staying on these boards for a long time to discuss and speculate on MH with us, then you aren't really doing yourself any favors by pissing everyone off.

Not really, because at least it seemed as though this guy thought of it on his own, (a lot of people came to this conclusion independently) whereas you just leeched off someone else's idea and endorsed it as though it were a presidential campaign.

Not trying to start (or kindle) a flamewar here, but there's no need to go off on someone like that. Everyone has had a silly/ridiculous/late night/repetitive post, whether it was their 1st post, or 1000th.

Who misused the term 'troll'? The internet dictionary (tm) defines 'troll' as:

1. (v) To post false information as fact knowingly

2. (v) To intentionally provoke ire, annoyance, irritation, or anger, among members of a community, 'for the lulz'

3. (n) One who does either of the above

And that's all I've seen it used for in this thread.

EDITED to fix my notation, had nouns as verbs and vice versa.

Indeed, it seems fairly obvious that anapplefalls fits all above criteria of being a troll and by dragging up an old argument you payed him attention thus feeding him.

Well, for my part, 1. I believe Alex IS NOT totheark based on fragments and 2. IN WHAT SENSE HAS HE NOT PRESENTED HIMSELF AS A BAD GUY? His videos are incredibly creepy, cryptic, and threatening. If TTA was trying to be helpful he's done everything he possibly could to look like a threat.

I may be new, but I can kinda tell you guys need more moderators to lock threads like these that just end up as trolls wimpering for food as they starve.

Also, I've no idea who this equal_opposite guy is, but based on what people have said, I can probably guess.
