Re: Does this say them or thena?

have a closer look at this and compare the 'n' and 'a' from other words. It looks like he is saying 'Use thena'... It just dosent look like all the other 'm's' in the letter.
Could this be some kind of code or have I just smoked too much for lunch today?
It kinda looks like the word "Thena". I looked it up and Thena is a character in the Marvel Universe. I think its OOG but, it's interesting to note that she has the ability to initiate the formation of the Uni-Mind. It is a composite being created from the minds of seven people deemed "Eternals" which have multiple powers and abilities. Thena also carries a bow that fires an arrow that releases "Cold Energy". Very interesting.

Since a great deal of what you and your new best friend ( ), Smoky Jane, the Aluminum Foil Femme Fatale, found regarding nuclear testing, perhaps we should go waaaaaay back to the original newspaper pages on STIES re: nuclear testing, ala Kennedy/khrushchev and see if any of the recent holes in letters line up with anything important?
Hey Xeno - sometimes it's just nice to know that someone else sees the little green men too.
Maybe there is something else in that old newspaper. I'm not sure how much time I want to spend looking. I'm a little burned out by clues and possible connections that seem pointless.

I too think it reads 'use Thena'. I was looking at some old techniques earlier on in the viral and think there must be more to this STIES letter.
The smudges on the page look very deliberate, could it be similar to the Rocket Poppeteers print outs that when aligned in a certain way revealed words? The sketch is obviously the cubed object but the other areas of the letter may hold further clues?
Either way, the viral campaign has slowed down and become very cryptic!
I also considered the missing dogs map on a similar thought, the dots may align somewhere else...or even dot to dot based on the time of the missing dogs?!

Rocket;
I wasn't making fun of you and Smokey Jane--not at all; I think it's awesome when you find a kindred spirit, albeit an aluminum one.
We've just got to the point where we've suffered a mid-air stall and we're starting to flap our arms in desperation.
With the pace going from fast to slow to medium to slower to slowest to super fast to slow again, I'm beginning tp wonder if this is going to end up being two weeks of Super Jeopardy?

Xeno - C'mon what's not to make fun of?
As far as Jeopardy goes - if it's us against that smug new computer Watson, we're in a lot of trouble. We can't even figure out the old PDP-11.
Melodyman - I'm with you on the letter. Enough of the slow agonizing drip.

DITTO!
I mean it's unrealistic that Josh in real life would not update his blog :s.
Kind of spoils the mood of the game...

I checked through the Moby Dick classic illustrated online and found that the last picture share too much resemblance with the hand cut-out.
Edit: I forgot to provide the whole page, sorry. Here it is. Fromhere
Re-Edit: Here what I get from overlapping the letter with that scene from Moby dick. Just for the records.
