[ABANDONED BLOG] Hiking Fiend

Maybe I'm jumping the gun on this one, but http://hikingfiend.tumblr.com/ seems like the start of something. A small town in a forest, people torn apart, killing everything in sight, only for the murders to get worse? Sounds like something a bit more than the average man would find in run of the mill woods.

I think you're jumping the gun. Lots of small towns have histories like that.

If I wasn't so lazy, I would create an account to edit it. I don't think there's a gun to jump.

And two more more posts today. Well, a photo and a post. But how often do deer carcasses get torn apart and smell like they've been rotting for weeks when they're fresh? Something about this blog strikes me as being not entirely normal.

It does sound to me like it's leading into a horror story, what with all the fresh-rotting animals and such, though not necessarily a Slenderman one. It's definitely got me interested.

I take it back, this might be an interesting one, even if it's not a Slendy blog. Rotten yet fresh corpses? A scene of incredible violence? None of that rush in other blogs? Yes please.

The "Wicked Gentleman" makes his first appearance. Well, not an appearance, per se, but an honorable mention. A man who lives in the woods, is finely dressed, and "has wicked slapped in front of his name for a reason." Sounds like fun now.

Stereotypical "stay out of here" warning, but there's a new post. "People had the habit of being taken by the Gentlemen when they wandered too far into the woods" apparently.

Just wanted to say,for some reason this blog really sticks out for me. I think it definitely has some potential. It is going slow, but at a good pace, and the writing is pretty solid thus far.

Yeah, this has my attention, too, Slendy or no. Still, I wish we could have some other clues about what's going on! Starting at the beginning of one of these things is hard, huh?

Now it's starting to pick up a little. Whatever killed that deer in the earlier post wound up in his backyard.

Still not convinced it's a Slendy blog, though.

ACTION! I'm excited for this one! I've officially decided that this is cool.

But not only am I not sure its Slendy... I actually don't think that it's Slendy.

I have my own theories about what's going on here, and until we physically see Slendy, I'm going to say that this might be taken out of the slenderman heading. Just my opinion.

Pretty damn cool actually! Obviously the mayor has been planting dirty bombs in the local wildlife!

This is so awesome. It's got some Slendy elements, and some elements that suggest something else, and to be honest as long as he keeps writing entertainingly and posting those lovely photos I'm willing to wait for answers. If anyone asks for an example of a blog that takes its time to build character and mystery, I vote that this one gets linked.

I like the overall feel of this one so far, and I like that the author seems to have a nice MWF schedule going on (with exceptions). I like the character development, and the mysterious introduction of "something dangerous"

Probably the most refreshing part of this- if it even is a slendy story - is how it is completely breaking out of the formula that so many have been following lately. I'll definitely be following this one for a while
