This is the night of a thousand dreams
This is the night where she tastes the screams
Others have walked this plane before
This is the desert
This is the now
And I am looking for you
You're finding me
Trains running low
They're echoes through the night of times gone past
Of traveling
The skyline is new and repeated
This head is weary and waiting
Sooth the brow, mix the elixir
Take me out of this contest,
Put me in another
This is the new and repeated
This is the same old me
And I am looking for you

What a cheap bastard Wongmo is!
Not only is Dina going to have to pay her way to the retreat that she won, Wongmo only gave out 1 prize per category to runners up!
Well, congrats to Jeremy F, Allen E, and Swirl.
I'm pissed off I didn't win a trip to attend a retreat with the man himself, but it's an honor just being mentioned, eh? :-) Too bad the file limit was only 2MB, otherwise I'd have sent a full clip, rather than a 45-sec lo-fi.

Hey, congrats all who won - if you actually receive it, please take a picture of yourself and post it here. If you can, take the pic standing next to the dolphin tank at Sea World.

I know you're just joking around, but I think it's awfully cool that they went through all the trouble of listening to the mp3s and looking at all that art and choosing winners.
It's a nice thing to bring some interactivity to the game, even if it's limited, and to give out some "prizes", even if they're only mugs or T-shirts. Kudos to the PMs on that one.

I did not see this posted elsewhere, but did anyone else notice that one of the winners (Joe B's "Firebird Part 1") points to an off-site file:

This is obviously an out-of-game website, but there still might be something interesting in the user profile, if we can knew the associated user.

Using complicated intuitive software, I figured out the user profile. You can visit his website here .
Doesn't sound like much of a hacker or a composer, and he dresses like a schlep. But if you're in New York, stop by his apartment, it's got a great view and he makes a helluva taco salad.

Wait a minute, I'm a winner? That's me! Holy cow, I had no idea!
Yeah, that's an out-of-game website because it's my webpage.
I'd like to thank the academy, my agent, my manager, oh, I should have written a speech...
Hrm Joe B? The Eye See image is listed there under images. Did you add it there because it is enhanced or something?

Aah, ya beat me. I edited out my stupid academy speech. Oh well.
Yeah, the eye see pic is up there because I was linking to it, and I figured I'd put the original link in a place where not too many people look.

You didn't have to own up to it Joe. I didn't use your name. Ha. =)
But yeah, your second response was much cuter. =)
