Though as far as I know, they've been few and far between; it's always seemed like a pretty friendly rivalry, if a rivalry existed at all.

You know what? If I were running EMH I'd fucking regret starting the HABIT trials by this point. The amount of crying, QQing, inter-forum bitching and general stupidity it's inspired is horrendous.

I wouldn't be surprised if half the reason EMH has lost steam is down to the boys losing enthusiasm for the project because of the constant wall of shrieking that is the HABIT nonsense. I'm glad I'm out of it. If HABIT wanted to prove to us that human beings are horrible, spiteful little creatures with no redeeming value, wow, did we live up to that.

But you know what? Awake has a serious fucking point. Yes, I'll admit it. I'm less than pleased with the conduct of a lot of the goons. But if I do mention it, it's in a place that isn't unforum. There's enough bullshit here that adding to it won't help at all, so I don't.

That's my opinion: keep yours to yourself, no matter what it is. We're here to enjoy something, not hate each other.

Eh, guys, you have to remember that we're dealing with the Something Awful Forums here, not a well moderated forum like Unfiction. They are the creepy uncle of the retarded child that is 4chan. (And that's saying a lot) Not to say SA is a terrible website, I actually frequent the main page for their content. A lot of what their stuff is genuinely entertaining and rather funny. It's the SA forums I tend to avoid. Unregulated trollerific chaos be in them boards.

To me, they are like monkeys (or trolls for that matter) at the zoo, and I think that they should be treated as such. They throw their shit at you, wanting you to come in and face their trolliness head on, even though no matter what you do they remain loyal to their troll code. I think, in this fairly one sided situation, ignorance is bliss. Instead of engaging in futile confrontation, what you all should do is smile, shake your head in pitiful disgust, and calmly move on.

Just like at the zoo.

So, don't feed the SA trolls.
Because feeding them makes them shit.
And they will throw that shit at you.
