How did you all enjoy my sequel? I know Zobot liked it.

It had a far looser structure than the first one.

Mighty glad you persuaded Wallace not to enter the Blue Zone he only had a 10% chance of surviving the place. Would of required a far bit of rewriting.

I'm currently working on an inside look to the first one:http://oneyearmuse.wikidot.com/missing-wallace

Should you be interested.

Any questions feel free to ask either by this thread or PM me directly.

Absolutely loved it!! Looking forward to the inside view. The pace was intense.... but that was good as it kept us focussed on solving things. The only unfortunate part of it was the small number of people solving.

Very well put together and good mechanisms for hinting. Really enjoyed conversing with the Baron Smile

Seadevil!? So that's why you never posted. So many deceptions. Anyway, that was really fun. The puzzles were hard enough to take a good amount of time without being frustrating. Good job.

Had a whale of a good time! Thank you. Foilhead's blog and the intro of "Mr. Brown" at the finale were highpoints for me.

The clue puzzles were integral and well-constructed, beginning with the intriguing Yale file and ending with the "Sum of 5" equation for the dedicated. Having been immersed in both of Wallace's cases my perception is that the glut of ZIP files in the middle deterred the entry of more players. It was weird fun contending with Mad Max in his universe 'tho. Beaut pace also.

Of course, Seadevil4, it's your scenario to lay out as you wish. I'd just like to see your creativity reach a larger audience. THX!

Heh, I'm sorta glad I can acknowledge who the PM was now. This was a really fun game, Seadevil4, and congrats on a good job running it.

I'm gonna be honest here, I'm still new to these ARG thingies, and those puzzles were some of the hardest things I've seen in a while. I didn't even get ONE. I'm gonna have to work harder on whatever games I play in next. But this was a fun game, even with me joining in the sequel instead of the first game. And I did have fun. Sorry if I was a bit too enthusiastic or anything.

Amandel, thanks for inviting me. Guys, thanks for being awesome puzzle solvers. Job well done all around.

Until later, then!

Thx for your comments, it was fun running another game. Tends to be a little bit addictive Wink

I agree I would have liked a larger audience but that is the way story went, sometimes stories just write themselves.

I've got sit down and finish my inside looks then who knows...

Fred is still at large.

I would play in a sequel game! Sounds fun. Although you may want to consider publicizing it to more people who haven't been involved prior...

Maybe send out letters or emails advertising Wallace's business or something?

The only thing I still can't figure out specifically are who the Numbered are.. was that just referring to the general public?

I'd play another sequel in an instant.

I'm not sure who the numbered are, but the general public are the unnumbered.
The info we were given on the numbered (as much as I can remember at least) and some theories I have:
- Somerton man was one of the numbered.
- implications that some of the other initial unsolved murders were of the numbered (speculation only)
- the numbered exist in cells and total 729
- (spec) Rocket Men of Shen was a numbered cell (or an imitation of one), but Fred was the only numbered among them.
- Roxie at one point said Fred didn't have a number but was one of the numbered. (spec - could he be number 1 (or zero).. interesting)

Don't know how much SeaDevil will give out on the numbered - particularly if a sequel is in the works Smile

Just remember what Fred said in his last email to everyone and what Edward Maad said about Fred.

The unnumbered is everyone.
The numbered are contained within cells (well done Reesylou) though the actual numbered are few so each cell may only contain one numbered and the rest are us.

Once I've finished the inside looks, I intend to do one for this game as well you might get a better overview. Hopefully the inside looks will be good for future PMs and a good summary of the story so far.

Any good story never answers all the questions at the end, leaves a little for the reader/player to wonder at.

Have a good Easter.

PS. Reesylou you are close about Fred being number 1, he is one of the first copies if you like.
