Marble Hornets - Superior acting, production value, easy-to-follow original story, original characters.

TribeTwelve - Effects.

I watched EMH first, TT second and MH last and I enjoyed them all, but TribeTwelve is easily the weakest of the bunch. I don't really care much for Noah, due to the fellas poor acting and also his poor use of swearing. I like swearing when its delivered in a great way ala Malcolm Tucker, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LugJd6uGJqI) but when Noah says 'Fuck' 20 times in a row its just... weak. The plot isn't as enthralling as the other Vlogs, either, which is a shame. But I think some of the creepiest videos in the entire mythos have come from TT and I like the fact that it's Slender Man has tentacles, a trait which was focused on a lot in the original SA thread but hasn't appeared that much in videos.

MH is probably my favourite for its atmosphere and it's story telling style but EMH is a close second (despite it being a little confusing to follow).

tribetwelve has better effects/slendy appearance/creepiness factor, but MH has a better story, characters, acting, and they don't procrastinate and lie to us on twitter

Pretty much what everyone above me already said.
Marble Hornets is pretty much superior in everything except creepiness and effects. TribeTwelve has poor acting and a pretty poor story compared to the other big vlogs, but it's fucking creepy as fuck fuck fuck (pun intended).
That's why TribeTwelve doesn't suck even though the acting/story does kind of suck, it's incredibly terrifying.
I also love their boardwalk location, creepy as hell. Not to mention the HELLOTHERE, COMECLOSER and INTERRUPTION submissions, sleepless nights...

Marble Hornets by a longshot. Tribes Twelve just doesn't give you the same feeling of suspense that MH does. When I watched MH, I was on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what happened next. TT just wasn't scary or suspenseful at all. plus, MH has several villains, Slendy, Masky 1 & 2, and (possibly) Alex. TT just has Slendy, and that's it.

You forgot the observer, who in my opinion is probably one of the creepiest villians in any of the series.

Well, he makes the most interesting videos by far (sorry TTA). His videos aren't too cryptic, and they're not too translucent, and there are those cheap rape face jump scares that always get me. I'll watch a TTA video a couple of times, but Observer videos just keep making me want to watch them over and over again, months after they were relevant.

I actually like how he just fucks with Noah. It seems like Noah is just this dumb kid who has no idea what he is in for. The Observer seems much smarter than the person making the videos.

In my opinion, EMH has the best acting, characters, and a decent story to follow.

Marble Hornets is a classic, which gives it a slight advantage; I've found the story interesting, although the wait time is starting to get on my nerves. I like Marble Hornets most because I can take it more serious than any other series because of how realistic it feels.
Also, it's so unpredictable- I want to know how it ends.

TribeTwelve seems like a copy of Marble Hornets.
The focus on the tower especially sets that off for me.
EMH is nothing like Marble Hornets other than it's occasional Slendy presence.'

That about does 'er.

I'm not a very picky person (kinda), so they all seem to have decent acting to me (with TT being the weakest, but still believable). And decent though the story might be behind EMH, it's also VERY convoluted and at this point nigh-impossible to fully get into if you try to do so now. I started watching several months ago, and I still haven't gotten around to going through all the Corenthal papers yet. Hell, if it weren't for these forums, I'd be completely lost by now.

TT and MH are pretty straightforward, and not at all difficult to understand (with TTA being the sole exception).

My take on it is that Tribe Twelve just seems so much more cohesive, digestible, and cinema-esque than MH and certainly more than EMH. If one of the main Slender Man vlogs were to be turned into a movie, I honestly think Tribe Twelve would work the best with little to no drastic changes. I've shown friends my MH DVD who've never seen it before, and I basically had to constantly explain the intricacies of the series and their implications. "You see, these were posted as video responses on a separate channel." "Yeah, this was basically cryptic bullshit that translates to..." "If you look carefully, you'll see him right there." "He was tweeting about this during this time." It was still scary to them, of course, but it's not very friendly to newcomers, especially in the DVD format.

TribeTwelve, on the other hand, I feel would make for a pretty sweet and straightforward DVD release, or even adapted to be a proper film. There's enough mystery to keep things compelling, yet not so cryptic that it takes hours of dedicated analysis to achieve meaning from. The plot is easily understood and well-paced when viewed in one sitting without becoming convoluted (lookin' at you EMH.) I've shown friends TribeTwelve and they enjoyed it overall much more than they did MH, and I didn't have to interject to explain anything, really. Were the early entries horribly derivative of MH? Undeniably. Was the acting rather hammy, even by Slendy-vlog standards? Sure. But has the series improved leaps and bounds since it's rather uninspired beginnings? I defy you to argue otherwise. I think if Nimbus were to do a DVD release or larger adaptation, the Submissions act could afford to be tweaked and reworked, taking what he's seemed to have learned since then and taking advantage of it.

And even the biggest Tribe Twelve haters have to admit, TribeTwelve has the best effects of any Slender Man series out there, bar none. Hands down. Just look at the most recent video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtFwR_pNDL4&feature=feedu ) and attempt to put anything else above that.

I'm not hating on MH. It was the first. It's still the best overall, in my opinion. But let's not kid ourselves by dismissing the impeccable strengths of TribeTwelve.

Just imagine if Nimbus teamed up with Troseph to make a series together.... *fangasm*

A Slender-series, or just something in general? Really, once MH runs its course, and TT (and EMH) reach their inevitable ends, their creators will have the fanbases set for them to make something bigger and better. With what Troseph and Nimbus have done now, imagine what they could pull off in the future, with more funds and more knowledge of their medium and audience.

I have a feeling that when troseph finishes MH, they will not continue with slendy. Troy said he has 1 year of college left right. With the mild popularity he's gained he will probably work on real films next.

I'm actually really interested to see what comes up after TT, EMH and MH have run their coarse. I hope Slenderman doesn't die (not literally, but memetically) because that would really be a shame. Just the idea of an urban legend created on the internet, is just the coolest thing to me.

Well I don't think it will die, in fact I would be sad if it did, it will lose some of its following though.
