He usually only acknowledges the totheark vids after someone contacts him on twitter

The first one is near a considerable number of PARKS in/near Birmingham.
The last is near a National Forest.

I called the first number and nearly shit bricks. The audio was crappy and sounded almost EXACTLY like the audio in broadcast. D: Nice knowing you all.

But good find for a first post!
Also, I dunno if we're supposed to find a number here. I mean yes, it's all phone themed and there's so many numbers just waiting to be played around with, but MH has never really been an in-depth ARG. This would be a great step forward if a number was found, But I'm betting on not.

i dont think theres a number to call for MH viewers and if there really is one,its most likely not to be found out by doing calculating stuff with the numbers saying LIES..

like "12=2-1"...c'mon 2:1=1,2x1=2 and so on,trying everything in every single way is probably just a waste of time!
also,j should already know about tta's sidetone vid,its not like its none of his business..2 weeks of waiting seems like he took alex' words too literally.. Crying or Very sad

After looking through the video again I think that's just the way the light is shining off of something. But now I can't unsee it... creepy.

Anyone else think that Ring being backwards is significant? Like if we do find a number, maybe we have to put it backwards? From the way it looks, the #000-0000 looks like we're not going to get an area code.

000-000-0000 instead of #000-0000 would have indicated an area code I think.

Another thing about the Ring being backwards, maybe it's not indicating Alex's number, but that alex's phone was dialing out or something? Like, if I called someone their phone would ring. So it's the opposite of that, I guess. Maybe this is Alex getting in touch with J?

Like "This voicemail lies, I'm returning your call now."

I kinda like this theory, if only because it meshes eerily well with Layla321's discovery earlier in the thread:

I really don't think there's an actual number to call. Surely Troy and Joseph don't have the money to register a special phone JUST for this, AND keep it going until long after people stop rewatching Marble Hornets.

Though, now that I think about it, they could have just bought some Tracfone or something and put a voicemail on it. It's not like they have to respond. But then they'd still have to keep service active.

Also, I doubt they'd do that, because no one would entirely expect that. At least...I wouldn't.

Am I the only one who thinks it's a horrible idea for us to be calling random numbers and bothering the people who may or may not own them? Remember what happened with ###-867-5309? (Which is a valid -- and in use -- phone number in my area code.)

The Number
I don't THINK there's a phone number in this video. It just seems too in depth, not for the MarbleHornets crew, but for TTA. The most he's ever reached out to Jay (not the audience) is in Signal and Warning, telling him exactly what to do.

The Text
In all honesty, I think there's more to it than there seems to be. Sure, if we take it at first glance, it appears to just be the word "Ring" flipped horizontally. But Mr. Beyond brought something up a few pages back that I think we need to consider. The 'R' clearly has sigma/stigma attached to it. And if what I said about the phone number turns out to not be true, then there may be something related between the two (sigma = 200, stigma = 6).
Also, what appears to be the 'g' at the end of "Ring" seems.... off. It's crooked and bent, twisted at an unnatural angle. Either TTA was trying to write southpaw or he/she/it meant for it to be.. wonky.


The Voicemail
There's something very important that we're missing here.
I think it's safe to assume that TTA and Alex are on opposing sides in this story. Alex obviously has it out for TiMasky, and since TiMasky is related to TTA, we can safely say that Alex/TTA don't get along. In fact, Fragments seemed to be a direct threat towards our bespectacled comrade(?).
TTA now has Alex's phone number, and it's terribly easy to find someone with that kind of information. Just think: totheark kept up with Jay for FOUR YEARS, even with all his hotel hopping and moving about. How long is it going to take him to find Alex?

I think that's the POINT. TTA is responding to Jay in the present. He knows what's happened. He's telling Jay that Alex, NOW, is unreachable. Either TTA knows where Alex is, or knows that he's dead and how it happened.
