Just dropping in quickly to say that getting a phone number connected to a land-line is pretty cheap. Check out Skype's plans. Last I saw they were around $5 a month.
Of course, if searching those numbers connected to Skype identifies them as being something other than land-lines that theory gets blown out of the water:p

Remember: MH is a story, not an ARG, and in the unlikely event of TTA actually providing us a number, Jay would comment on it.

It's interesting that you mention Skype. When Skype calls a landline, the caller ID shows as 000-0000. The same as the video description. Hmmmm.

I strongly suspect there's a skype number we're meant to call, I'd be surprised if that wasn't a solution (and this wasn't a puzzle).

Doesn't Alex use skype in Entry #26?

As for the inevitable #37, I'd bet some serious money that he'll show. If The Operator IS following Alex, his glorious return is bound to bring some "bad omens" with him.
Jay just posted on his twitter that he "Found something that makes me not want to go through the rest of these tapes."
I'd say that it's either the Operator is finally coming, or something with Alex and Jay getting into it with TiMasky again.

I just joined to say this. Since no one probably looks at the older topics, I think it would be best to mention it here. In entry #29, the bloody rock/piece of cement at 0:47 looks like what Alex used to break Tim's leg in entry #35. Since we don't really know the order of everything happening during that large gap between "seasons," the tunnel could have been where Alex and/or Tim had been at some point. The picture from #29 in Sidetone could imply that Jay was looking for Alex there but did not/will not be able to find him.

They look like then have rings at the top. Pictures of a notebook? Here's a normal one for reference-
EDIT: herpaderpa, looks like you guys got to this already. it does look more like a phone cord, in retrospect

Is it possible that we are not looking for a phone number but a password for Jay's Youtube?

Yeah, I know. However a couple things like the safe code and now the password make me wonder if there was something more to that.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
At this point, I highly doubt it. Troy had said at one point that there were a few little things that we might have missed in relation to the TTA videos, but the story seems to have progressed well enough without us figure that stuff out. I'm hiding this text because some people are very particular about immersion, and I want to keep mention of Troy on these boards to an absolute minimum.

New here - been watching and reading for a while, but it's my first post so here's to hoping I don't embarrass myself.
I was rewatching the video and I disagree that it's sheet metal or a phone cord in the background. What it looks, to me, like we're watching is actually light and shadow on either patent leather or fake, shiny leather/fabric. -- say, like the seat of a nice car. The shines/highlights look like the right shape and what other people are seeing as those rivets or the phone cord look distinctly like a seam in the fabric. So I think we're seeing the seat (and actually the seat, not the back) of a car with light coming through the windows and most likely people passing and/or moving in front of that window to get the variations in the light.
I tried to see what I could of Alex's car in Entry #36 to see if it'd match his car, and the best I could see was that his car had a dark interior - charcoal or black.
So I'm going to venture an only partially-supported theory that what we're seeing is the inside of Alex's car? Or possibly, the inside of Jay's (I'm pretty sure his car has dark upholstery as well) as he's trying to call Alex and only getting voicemail?

Could the numbers in the frames be referencing other entries?
