I had this dream one time where me and a big group of people ran at Slenderman in the woods when we saw him, and when we got to him, he turned into a stack of house phones and just fell over.

So, really, all you have to do is form a party and run straight for him.

First post, new to the Slenderman mythos. After reviewing Marble Hornets, people have already mentioned that Alex has escaped the Slenderman before and that it managed to come back when Amy caught him on camera, with the same camera he used before. But people failed to mention that he escaped him twice it seems, the aforementioned Amy footage, and the second time was prior to Jay watching the entries. It's possible that he escaped the Slenderman a third time when his mom and dad stopped videotaping him as a child. I think it's safe to assume that this is a valid method of avoiding the Slenderman.

On a lighter note, Slenderman has been associated with an O with an X draw over it. What if, and this is crazy talk, you draw an X with an O over it? Duh duh duuuuuuuh

^^^I've always thought the X in the O symbolized that TO has no face, hence an X'd out face.

^^^ This is true, i was posting more as a joke. Although horror logic sometimes has silly ways of fighting the supernatural. Also there is that theory that The Operator is summoned by that symbol. Maybe the person that uses that symbol summons the Operator, but rather than tormenting the summoner, the Operator uses that person as a proxy. Alex (and maybe totheark) could have discovered this, and rather than have the Operator appear randomly to torment them, they use the symbol to be his willing slave. Although totheark seems to be immune to the Operator's machinations

Wanted to take a crack at this topic because I'm bored & I thought it would be an exercise in thinking outside of the box:

If Slenderman teleports away from danger/danger away from him, you could trick it into teleporting itself into danger.

If it's just invulnerable, you could get it to attack itself. Works a lot better if it's a Slenderman that uses its limbs.

That's all I got. It's difficult to say anything without any weaknesses to exploit.
