 		One of the other boggers, (http://nostalgicallydreaming.blogspot.com/) Aparently has a transcript of the whole shitstorm. This shitstorm is notable for not only having 90% of the major bloggers shitting on one person, but Zerosage coming back from the dead spcifically to rage at her.

But yeah, she's one of the bloggers who thinks this is all legit. I saw this coming.

Her last post also claimed that "this was her life" so there's that.

I'd been suspecting she was one of the bloggers who was WAY to into it for a while.

Oh good lord. Well, at least her blog has been taken down, it might give her a chance to take stock and consider what she is actually doing.

People who aren't in a good way in terms of mental health (especially if that takes the form of paranoia, a fear of being watched or stalked - very common with schizophrenics - or general delusional symptoms) really need to keep their distance from ARGs for their own good, or at least find some way to regularly remind themselves that it's just a game. I dunno whether we as a viewing community (and the slendybloggers themselves) should do more about this or not.

I mean, I know immersion is everything and presenting everything as though it's real is kind of the point. But if this person actually CUT THEMSELVES for the sake of their Slendyblog and POSTED PICTURES OF IT then *that* was the time for the community-wide intervention, not now. Everyone should have piled in then and said "look, Slendy isn't real, we can have you talk OOG with the creators of all the major source materials if you like, you really should talk to a professional about this".

I worry that now this person's just had a tidal wave of abuse thrown at them by the community they might do something inadvisable. Sad

I've actually thought of it now and then, that if somebody with paraoia and/or another grave psychological issue found ARGs, being unaware that it is an ARG or just not being able to see it as a game, it would be veeeerryyy unfortunate.


Is there some way to contact this girl since she took down her blog?

 		To be honest, I wouldn't be massively surprised if whoever forwarded her that e-mail she posted did so to underline that all the Slendyblogs are fiction... only it backfired and she decided that there was a conspiracy of ARGers to defraud the genuine Slendystalked by tossing out false information.

Which would suck, but isn't really something anyone can control, and it's better to try to encourage someone to get helped and be rebuffed because they're too paranoid to listen than to just sit there whilst they self-destruct.

 		Well, also, you have to understand the blogger mentality.

All the people she called out, are the "upper class" or "Main-Stream" of Slenderbloggers. The ones who make the rules. The ones who have the best stories, the most followers, the most influence.

If she isn't genuinely crazy, it could easily be jealousy. Shelby, like many others, are in the "lower class" or "fringe" of slenderblogs. The ones that aren't famous, aren't very good. A chance to strike at them would be tempting, ESPECIALLY if you were super jealous of their popularity and also thinking Slenderman is real.

"Team Ups" are a way for not famous bloggers to gain more reputation, especially with the big names. She could have gotten way offended and lashed out the best way she could.

I mean, if that's true, then even giving her the benefit of the doubt, even assuming that she does understand that Slendy isn't real and it's just a story, then you've got a situation where she's cutting herself just for the sake of her blog. Unless I've misunderstood what you were saying?
