To their credit, the kid does look a lot like Alex.

And I would NEVER have noticed the Spongebob thing if it hadn't been pointed out further above. I say we should just forget about it.

 		Okay, now on to a real post. I've got to say, I'm starting to think that Slenderman in this case is an expression of Alex's, something that came out because of him. He's our "Operator". He's the fuel, anchor, whatever, that's keeping Mr. Thin latched onto these people. Get rid of Alex, or keep him from thinking about things, Slenderman subsides. Bring up memories that trigger him, Mr. Thin comes knocking.

Hence Masky's attempt to stab him. He's trying to free up Mr. Thin.[/quote]

 		That was... very creepy. Whether it's J or totheark that posted this, neither should have access to Alex's birthday footage.

OOG: Hopefully Troy will still post the footage they filmed for the real entry 37 this week, maybe throw in some survellance footage of what went on during his blackout period. It's possible that this was the footage they filmed, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't Joseph's actual birthday footage and they just dubbed in "Alex".

It doesn't seem to me that Slendy was actually there; it's the same issue as some of the editing done to the video, including putting the Operator sign on the kid's face.
Seems to me that he's not actually in this video, but his image was placed there and thus affected the dates shown.
Not sure if I'm making any sense.

tl;dr The Slends is not actually in Entry 37's home video, his image is merely added to it to imply that he follows children (as per the Slenderman mythos) and that he is following Alex (which we already know).

What is far more interesting to me is that whoever posted this video has extensive access to Alex's family tapes. I'm leaning towards this being a TTA hack entry, meaning that Tim has done some serious stalking.

 		Also, I don't know if this is common knowledge, but all the 4's in April 4th and the attack in Entry 26 being at 4:04 probably relate to the Japanese superstition about the number 4, similar to the common beliefs about 13 being unlucky.

 		Dude, that Spongebob shirt made me pissed when I saw it. I wonder if he noticed that when he edited this video.

Whatever though. Still an awesome video. Creepy as hell. The whole date changing thing was amazing to me.
