Someone mentioned earlier that there is something that runs in front of the screen really quickly. Screencapped it at 7 seconds. It's SM all right.
EDIT: It's important to make sense. (:

It def looks like a slender face (almost like a double layered stocking mask) and it moves seemingly at an unnatural pace, but why would slender man wear an awful 90's esque striped polo?

I went through frame-by-frame and got all the dates from the Slenderdistortion bits, for future reference here they are. I think most if not all of them were posted earlier in the thread, but you know how things have a tendency to get lost or looked over in the influx of posts here. Rolling Eyes

These are in the order they appeared, and not chronological order.

Jun 30 1900, 8:23 PM
July 10 1999, 6:03 AM
Aug 30 1891, 1:00 OM
May 17 1988, 9:00 AM
Sep 4 1991, 10:41 AM
(I would like to mention I think this is of note, simply because it stayed for a good four or five frames, whereas the other dates only stayed for a single frame or two. Something about that makes it seem important.)
Jan 1 1992, 12:00 AM
Feb 29 1996, 4:44 AM
(Not only is this a leap year, which only happens every 4 years, but 4:44 was an important time in Entry 26. Thought I should add that.)
Dec 31 1999, 11:58 PM
Mar 3 1981, 9:42 AM
Nov 12 1993, 12:34 AM
Jun 6 1944, 9:99 AM
(of course, not a real time and an inverted 666. Take that as you will.)
And then the timestamp returns to Apr 4 1991, 6:03 PM for the remainder of Operator's appearance.

I think the dates seem important. At the very least, they either point to the fact that the Operator DOES cause timefuckery, even time TRAVEL; or they point to the fact that Operator has been around a long long LONG TIME.

This is entirely unfounded, but I got the idea that those are the times of death of his victims or something :v

I notice that too, but it moves way too fast to be human. It's out of frame in .15 seconds. My guess is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
That was the best computer generated figure Troy could come up with.

The facial features annoy me too. I just thought it was worth pointing out because if it was SM, he was right there and the parents didn't even frickin' know. Shocked
EDIT: extra random tag.

It's not so much too fast, as the speed suddenly fluctuates mid-run and too in focus. Also, probably much too close to be standing there.

My first instinct was that it had something to do with the many, many people he's stalked, too. I'm not sure. I know if they are meant ot be read literally, Operator has been around at least since the very very beginnings of the 20th century.

But some things are just off. Like 9:99. A time that could only possibly exist in Slenderdimension or...something. And I looked it up and 1996 WAS indeed a leap year, but at first I thought it was a date that didn't really... exist. It's certainly a date that doesn't exist most years.

Oh hell, I just thought of something.

How many people, besides Alex, helped work on Marble Hornets and were listed as 'Gone' in Entry 22?

1. Seth.
2. J.
3. Tim.
4. Sarah.
5. Brian.

Five people.

Five candles, out "all at once."

Someone in a chat (can't remember who, but it wasn't me) found that this date was the pinnacle of an African bee rampage. Some kids were killed in Mexico during it. Probably just coincidence though. And it's not a very substantial historical event like the other ones.

And good catch, Nickjackal.

This seems really interesting to me- especially because that kid just seems too old to have 5 candles. He looks like... seven.

This is what I'm thinking too. Especially if May 17, 1988 is Jay's birthday
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
since it just so happens to be Troy's birthday.
If it is, then it heavily suggests that Jay was also a Slender-stalkee in his childhood, and the other dates might be in reference to his other victims.

... I was going to go to bed an hour ago, but I had to sit here and read about Spongebob instead.
And decide whether or not to watch this for myself right now.
And I have decided that, as much as I want to watch this, I need to slleep, and so will have to watch it in the morning.
If I can get that screenshot of Slendy out of my head long enough to get to sleep without having Slenderman related nightmares.
Thank you god for it being my Spring Break.
*sighs*

Damn, you got to the quote before I could, seems very ominous, putting out every flame all at once.

So....intentional video title? Or no? Because I know they'd totally use something seemed simple and insignificant like a typo and give it a big important meaning.

So I just rewatched the end of entry 22 (slightly too afraid to watch the whole thing) and realized... he says "I thought I would be safer here, by running away. But everything's just gotten worse. So I'm going back to my home."

^ Isn't that the "he's been slender-stalked since he was little" we were looking for?

But that doesn't really tell us why he didn't react more heavily to Slendy when he saw him on the set...

I mean, we have to remember. Classical Slender Man stalked children. My guess is the Slenderstalked (read: Alex, then brought it on Jay [or did he?]. Also, Jessica. Still don't know her deal.) all somehow escaped The Operator in childhood, and now he's coming back for the ones he missed.

Those are just my two cents.

Maybe he just didn't notice him until he started filming MH?
