I just came up with an interesting theory.

Beind Alex when he's blowing out the candles,there's a pregnant woman behind him. This could be his mother, as usually the parents prefer to be close to their children.

The woman with him while he's unwrapping presents doesn't look pregnant, so they're probably not the same woman.

Either way, main theory: Jessica is Alex's sister if te pregnant woman is Alex's mother, or if not, Jessica was a childhood friend of Alex.

The "creepy singing" is because the entire clip is slowed down. The mom's voice sounds creepy and slow too.

I personally believe that this file was probably not on a physical tape or vhs (obviously it had to start on one) but was rather either put directly on Jay's computer by TTA or it was from the hard drive. This would explain the operator symbol popping up and personally I think the low singing may have been added by whoever had this footage as a taunt.

Also after Alex blew out the candles and slendy popped up you can hear a kid say "woah awesome man!". I guess he was impressed by slendy's candle dance

Maybe I'm just seeing things, but when woman goes to pick something off the ground, do you any of you see a black figure in the background?

EDIT: I keep seeing things. The window at :36 looks like there is a head outside.

EDIT: If that is in-fact someone (and trying to sound as logical as possible) maybe that's the shadowy figure in the background I mentioned earlier.

EDIT: After watching it multiple times, it looks like Slenderman is walking into the house, we see him by the window, and then in the background.

I agree with th early theory that the other kid in that shot looks remarkably like Jay.

Of course, Jay says he and Alex were "college friends," not childhood friends, but Jay didn't remember working on the film either...

i thought it was pretty much agreed upon that the operator wasn't all that interested in jay, the only time him showing up being 29, 23, and that one totheark video, and he never seemed to stalk jay. it was like jay just happened to stumble into him (oh, crazy seeing you here!).

so, with that said, i'm highly doubting that jay is in this video. all the evidence we have to go off is a little kid kind of looks like him. i highly doubt it's him.
