Dunno if this was mentioned by anyone else, but I bet you that one of those kids is Brian...

A few pages back I made a joke about Alex wishing for his imaginary friend to be real. This was a mistake as some people seem to have taken it the wrong way. Sorry for that, it was just a joke.

1. Seth.

4. Sarah.
5. Brian.

These people were all involved with Alex, and while they're all missing, Alex remains unharmed.

I may be missing something in your theory, but I'm pretty sure J and Tim aren't missing...?

We know they aren't but at the time Alex said they were. Also, to Alex and Jay; Tim has only just re-emerged (as far as we can tell).

This may help in regards to August 30th, 1891:
The Wichita Daily Eagle

Bottom left, right above the article called "AMUSEMENTS".
Its entitled "A Lost Boy". The fact someone is also referred to as an operator in it made me pee a little.

Holy crap, sleepyeyes (and anyone else if that has been mentioned in the thread before), that's.. amazing. I wonder if we can find missing kids on these dates..

That said, I support the theory that these were the days other victims died. Makes sense that a victim was likely to die on D-Day, since so many people who died that day.

More support to this hypothesis, I suppose.

OT- I'm posting this from school, lol.

In other news, sleepyeyes, that's... kinda creepy. I'm kinda on board with aneris, I think those dates have something to do with other Slendy-victims. Oh well. I just want a TTA response soon...

Did anyone even read what I wrote on page 33?

Could be important?

Slender Man does not appear in this Entry in person. He only appears as some sort of distortion when kid Alex blows out the candles.

I really think that this has some weight. How hard was it to find?

Does it say anything about the D-Day part if we consider that the Slender Man myths show him as originating from German myths?

Sorry if this has been noted before.

holy cock Shocked I wonder if this comes up when you google around a bit for reports of unsolved cases of disappeared/lost children.

I was checking the original Slender Man thread on the SomethingAwful forums and I came across a post from Jay(as user Ce Gars) where he gave basically the same explanation of the tapes he gives in the Introduction video but he included one piece of information that ties in with this Entry

"Which struck me as very odd since he had been living around that area since he was eight, and never seemed to have a problem with it."

The interesting thing here is that that actually suggests that the set of Marble Hornets wasn't near where this birthday was filmed. The birthday cookie (lol) has five or six candles on it (it looks like six, from the number of glowing embers you can see after they're blown out). That would suggest that the Operator developing an interest in Alex preceded his move to the Marble Hornets filming location area by at least two years.

This could suggest that moving away the first time saved Alex from whatever the Operator tends to do to his young victims, and that the Marble Hornets events were a case of the Operator finding 'the one who got away' again. And then season 2 is triggered by the Operator rediscovering Alex after he escaped AGAIN... if this's all true, Alex is a lucky bastard. If he's still alive presently.

A note on the music: I'm sure it's the music used in the clip of Silent Snow, Secret Snow from the Signal video.

That's cool. I don't suppose you have an audio file handy that compares them one after another? It'd be cool to have that for the wiki.

Also, if this's true, it's thematically so appropriate. Silent Snow, Secret Snow seems to be about a kid who psychologically retreats from the world for mysterious, chilling reasons (ostensibly it's about autism, but can be read other ways for our purposes). Using that music before this clip might frame Alex as the child being changed... I mean, it's not exactly news, but would support the idea that young Alex was Operator-stalked to any doubters still out there. XD

The music might also lend evidence to the theory that it was actually TTA who uploaded this video, or at the very least that he was the one to MAKE the video. It's referring back to footage and audio that he's used before. Not to say Jay couldn't have done that , but it doesn't strike me as something that he would do.

This actually makes a ton of sense, if you assume the Operator can use cameras as his eyes and take Alex appearing on camera to mean Alex PHYSICALLY appearing on camera. It's totally reasonable that the director of Marble Hornets (Alex) might have gotten a ways into the project before actually appearing on camera himself to direct the actors -- possibly in Entry #12, where he leads Brian across the field and the camera goes haywire?

my theory; alexs dad/grandpa brought slendy back from wwii. see's alex as a kid and begins. in time everyone becomes aware of slendy and alex's dad/grandpa/tta is asked by tim and brian how to stop it. when he says "kill alex"brian changes his mind and is killed.yes, i think tta is alexs family, someone who was in wwii.

OK...so let's assume the Wichita paper is an actual lead. It was found by simpling copying the abbreviated date and pasting into a google search. It's the first entry that comes up. Here are some possibilities for the other dates:

JUN 3, 1900

http://content.lib.washington.edu/cdm4/item_viewer.php?CISOROOT=/childrens&CISOPTR=605&CISOBOX=1&REC=3

Mentions disciples in a religious connotation. Not sure of a tie-in here.

JULY 10, 1999

http://www.socialistworld.net/doc/3632

Five people killed in a massacre linked back to cult-like behavior. Maybe.

MAY 17, 1988

Big bowl of nothin'

SEP 4, 1991

Not much there, either.

Honsetly, I think we're spinning our wheels a bit with the dates. Seems like their pretty random with a few coincidences here and there thrown in.
