I apologize, I'm still new so I don't exactly understand what goes on here in the forums. All I thought was "Hey, they're not on topic, let me comment about that!" Sorry if I came off a bit rude, I just wanted to understand why it was a bit off topic, though I'm not the best at posting.

This might explain why he's willing just to go back to the same motel he was at before. He's resigned himself to the fact he'll be stalked regardless.

When I watched/listened, my first thought was that ONLY the voice was slowed down/distorted. Mom and Alex sound fine to me, and move at a normal rate, too. Which is creepier, btw.

Well then, could the guy singing be important if he's the only one that had a distorted voice?

Then again, whoever posted it could just be trying to fuck with Jay. If it's TTA, he's had quite a history of doing that.

We don't know that he's going back to the hotel. He's going back to 'where he was,' but that probably means wherever he's been bedding down since leaving the hotel. He hasn't kept us in the loop on that. Our boy has trust issues, go fig.

Also, for the "How's he going to get there if he doesn't know where 'there' is?" folks, he didn't know where he was when he woke up at the hotel, but we need to assume that at some point after leaving the hotel, he'd have seen highway markers, road signs, "You Are Leaving MaskyTown USA" billboards, or something. Even if he'd determined not to think about where the hotel was, he'd notice where he was driving upon leaving it.

Maybe not telling us is part of laying low, or maybe he's had bigger tapes to fry.

ETA: Or maybe I misread and you just mean wherever he was bedded down before, and I need coffee and/or reading comprehension. Smile
