[OT]Calgarians love Slenderman
4 of us!

Look at all of us! There are 4 active members including myself who are from Calgary, AB, Canada. Is it not a tad creepy?
I theorize that Slendy is somewhere in the city, since we first got interested in this. I learned about Slendy in maybe September of '09. This of course means we are all screwed if not about to cough blood lots and get a fetish for cameras and masks.

For those who didn't notice us, its Dray, lifegospel, me, and Jkatkina (forgive my spelling I'm not really going to double check upper/lower casedness.)

Well, there may be 4 of us here, but I'm pretty sure there's a larger group of members somewhere out there...

Oh, before I forget, I might have to grab tickets to my latest show for all 3 of ya'. We can hold a "Slender-party" afterward Wink

Since when? When my English boyfriend disses hockey I nearly remove his head. ;D He said its a game for girls! GIRLS!

Anyways, we got buried in snow, so Slenderman is going to stand out real well now. I think we'll be safe for a few weeks.

As I was saying just the other day. "It may be a kid's show, but the adults <3 it."

Unless he takes a quick nip down south and grabs a white suit.

I think it partly just means that, being snowed in, we have less to do and so spend our time speculating about monstrous horrors! Psh, Slendy fits in better now: With leafless trees his extra arms blend right in!

You know what, I always thought that Slenderman was a very Canadian menace. Knowing Canadian fiction, he's par for the course -- the heroes in Slendy stories can never defeat him, can only ever hope to escape him if that, and going mad but remaining alive is considered a reasonably good outcome. He's also been likened to a force of nature, implacable and inescapable. That is like every piece of Canadian fiction out there... just throw in some black humor and weird sex and he'd be good to go in the Great White North, haha.

H.P Lovecraft did it first, hah. You pretty much assume everyone's going to go mad in an H.P story. Also, everything they face is unknowable and incomprehensible, let alone unkillable.

Also, @Dray: Well I just have to hold out for 5 more days Razz
