Also, my main problem with the Masky=TTA theory is that TTA always wanted J to return to the house, but it seemed like Masky kept chasing him away. It's those two different behaviors that continue my doubt. Especially when added into TTA's cockiness lately. If he is Tim, he got very confident after being de-masked. (The whole "do you know me? I will always know you" thing.)

Theoretically, if you subscribe to the Jessica=TTA theory, Jessica could've been the one that left the combination, and Tim superman'd through the door to stop Jay from getting the tapes, only to get Maglite'd in the head.

Very true. It just seemed like he took his time. Slowly reaching around the door and not really pursuing Jay that much.

And as for the Jessica=TTA theory. I've considered it, and it would give her character a reason of existing, but there's just something I'm not fond of. I don't know what it is, just that it's there...

to respond to an earlier comment, I don't have amny theories up because I can't really think of any for the cahracters. Most of the characters are just there, but a list of Alex and Brian and Tim theories should probably put up.

you have theories of Masky, Slendy, and TTA in categories...what about theories about Alex, Jay, or Rebecca? Or is this a more "antagonist" thread?

Who the fuck is Rebecca? o.o

Embarassed sorry, was posting too late last night, I meant Jessica, or whoever was in the hotel.

I wonder who skully will turn out to be. Because we all know that wasn't a coincidence.

I want to believe that it wasn't a red herring. It just seems too important to be one.

You know what I would love to see?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Now that it's confirmed we'll get a DVD, they should make a special DVD-exclusive "alternate ending" when they release the final season, that actually does the whole "surprise, it's Jay's birthday" joke.

a list of current theories

a) Cameras bind The Operator to this realm of existence, forcing him to follow our rules. Alex used the camera as a way of containing The Operator and preventing him from skipping around time and space. This is best supported y the entry (forgive my ignorance, but I don't remember the entry) in which the Operator enters the room, is seen entering the room on camera, and later is no where to be found, when the only entrance is being watched by the camera. (which never sees The Operator leaving)

No this can't be true. In one of the first entries Alex notes that Tim was acting really paranoid and scared one shoot because of a really tall man. Also, in a shoot later on when they're in a field, Slenderman is standing in the shot staring at them, and all the cast start yelling at him to move away.
Thus he is on our plane of existence, he just seems to choose when he is.

Are you talking about the second entry? When he's in the car driving to the street light? If not, please cite, because if you are referring to Entry #2, that was Alex talking about his dog, not Tim. Laughing

Ah yes you were right, it was the dog. Woops, my bad.

But either way, this still proves my point. His dog AND Alex saw The Operator with no camera near them.

It's a popular theory that animals can see paranormal things, like ghosts and the like, that only few humans can recognize.

Yeah, but Alex says that his dog got scared by looking at a tall man, not that his dog went catatonic for no reason. Therefore Alex himself saw him, otherwise he wouldn't be able to describe him.
