In-game, it would make more sense if April 4th was a day that something would happen, not necessarily when Jay would upload a video. Perhaps something happened today and Jay will upload it soon.

Something likely happened on the 4th, but given Jay's position we may not find out what it was for a long time. Since it is ALEX'S birthday, whatever "happened" would have happened to him--Jay has no contact with Alex and he (and we) are still trying to figure out what has happened in the last 7 months--unless totheark gives us something, we won't get any hints of what happened for a while.
