 		In light of new developments, it may be wise for us to plan a chat via Mibbit. The Circle won't be talking with us 'til next Saturday so I doubt any of the Commune will be in there at all.

P.S. Anyone with a twitter should add me, @Neoplayer2.

 		Guys, for now, there isn't any other reason to make a different chatroom. It seems that because of the distrust the Commune has with us, we won't be having anything to discuss for some time.

 		1. Well, it's kind of difficult to explain if you aren't participating in the ARG... I'll let some one else with more time on their hands answer this one Razz

2. Depends, what are you referring to? In recent developments, we finally got to chat with the Master (Slender Man) and apparantly we are cut off from talking to the Commune (The Master's chosen human followers, given abilities by him and carry out his bidding) because they say one of us is a traitor to the Commune. Idk about any of that though.

3. Slender Man is what the Commune refers to as The Master, he hand-picked them and has set up a leadership for them to carry out his orders and to make this world "better", according to him, but at the end of the chat The Master ended with the phrase "It should be noted, I am a liar", so pretty much anything from that discussion we had with him should be taken with a grain of salt.

First, grats on the modship Cougar. And now to your questions and the incoming wall of text.

1. There is a group called the Inner Circle, they have communes in every country and every state. They are lead by and do the bidding of the Master. Slenderman is the Master. He chooses people, The Chosen, to join the Circle but he cannot force them outright and influences them through dreams.

This specific story is about the commune in Cardiff, UK. They are trying to bring a Chosen named Mark(his chosen name is KarmA) to the commune but there have been many obstacles and he has been very resistant. Why they want him is not entirely known since the Master is very secretive and the Circle does as he says without question. Recently all attempts to secure Mark have ended in bloodshed. He has become stronger like members of the Circle but continues to resist. His father Geoffrey, a former member of the Circle, has resurfaced and is trying to destroy the Master. Where we last left off the circle tried to kill Geoffrey but failed when someone warned him. We have been cut off from contact until Saturday, when the Circle reaches a decision about our involvement. Advancement depends on interactions with the circle and if the Linked stay in servitude to the Circle or rebel.

To help clarify the name:
Munenany and Acchibl were two members of the commune who started this. I solved Munenanys puzzles and was told to bring 9 more to be Linked and we helped them find Mark. But much has happened since then, they unpartnered and took back their former names as Chosen: MechanicalTrees and MistBunny. We are not bound to just them, but the commune as a whole.

2. We are the Linked. I am the Linked leader and try to keep everything orderly and well, lead my group. I recruited the other Linked to help the Circle bring Mark to the commune. But we have a choice. We can choose to help the Commune or we can warn Mark of their plans. We communicate regularly with members of the Circle, but communications vary based on your reputation and how much trust they have in you. Since Geoffrey has returned to help Mark we can now choose to side with him or continue to help the Circle. The Linked are low on the chain of command. We do as we are told, but can be defiant and risk being cut off.

3. Slenderman is the Master. The center of the Circle and makes all final decisions. When he is near, he brings the mist.

I might be blanking on some details. But in short: Its an ARG that focuses on interactions between the Linked and the Circle. It is a Slenderman story, but it is not your average Slenderman story.

If my explanation was still a bit murky, HunterEris might be able to explain it more clearly. It is her ARG, I just lead the Linked.

All related links and a role sheet for the Circle is on the first post. Its seems simple if you are in the loop but it is difficult to summarize everything.
