I prefer my solid oak Louisville Slugger. Or the three machetes we have, or the three chainsaws (though two are probably broken), or the rifle.

OR A VUVUZELA

OR THE POWER OF ROCK

or running like hell

In all of my situations, the slegehammer worked best.
[those people still haven't come back and we got our shit back XD]

And chainsaws give a Texas Massacre feel. Overdone.
If you choose the rifle, you are once again condemning yourself to COINCIDENCES because I dubbed you as TF2 Sniper.

TAKE ADVICE FROM DRESDEN.
LEARN TO RUN AS FAST LIKE THE WIND.
AND HAVE A SHITLOAD OF FIRE MAGIC SPELLS.
And a staff because fuck yeah staff

...really? I thought we'd established that I was a devout Bruce Campbell worshiper. Watch the Evil Dead trilogy again, please. Or just look at the poster for Army of Darkness.

The coincidences have gone too far to be stopped now! NOTHING CAN STOP IT! Also,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
IG!Grandpa was a sniper in the IRA during the Troubles.
Pretty sure I've mentioned that already, but just in case.

I CAN ALREADY RUN THAT FAST WHEN SCARED, BUT I WILL RUN FASTERRRRR.

ALSO, FIRE MAGIC IS ALWAYS GOOD, AS ARE STAFFS.

As are dusters.

IG!Doc needs a duster.

WATCH EET. YOU HAVE NOT LIVED UNTIL YOU'VE WATCHED EET. Or at least the second and third ones, the first is pretty mediocre.

But yeah, Bruce Campbell's character's hand gets possessed so he lops it off with a chainsaw and then replaces it with said chainsaw and says "Groovy." and it's AMAZING because he's a badass like that.

And that would come in handy. Except I kinda doubt if it's possible.

You should know by now that nothing is impossible. XD

You can go dangle people off the top of Big Ben without consequences.

Okay, we post OOG stuff on here a lot, but can we keep conversational silliness to Twitter please? It's annoying to just skip over posts - practically by muscle memory - because I know it's nothing important...

Just a suggestion.

You sound touchy.
Don't like it? Don't read it.
You already have that settled and are doing so.
It's more annoying to have four hundred new tweets to read after not being next to a computer for a day. [or even two hours knowing how we are]
[[And another sorry to punxtr for all of that as well XD]]

If we were having multiple pages added to the thread a day, then yeah that'd be out of hand. It's a few harmless posts.
[Pretty much don't know what to do while waiting for IG things to happen]

And my apologies if this is bitchy. Irritable mood at two-thirty AM.

Dunno if that's breaking the rules since it's my blog, but nobody really posts any of the side-story stuff to the thread, so...

*dashes off*

No problem. I'm still just waiting for things to pick up, so I don't mind the occasional chatter.

Went through the thread recently and just wanted to say that this makes for a very interesting read. I've enjoyed seeing all the twists and turns things have taken so far.

I may have just missed them while I was reading, but are there any more blogs or things that go along with this ARG? While the thread was quite diverting, I'd like the chance to see what other elements exist as a part of the story as a whole (I did see the one linked a couple posts above). Things admittedly get a little confusing when the thread itself is all one has to go on.

Oh! This reminds me! Eris wrote a summary of the plot one OOG chat and I logged it! Let me post it - MsSynclair, this should probably go on the front page.

ACT 1

The main character is KarmA, who used to be known by the name Mark Axton until he was captured by the Sophia Commune. He spent a time fighting against them alongside his father, TurningWords, who he thought was dead until he got his Soul Mask.

The Communes are groups of 18 Chosen, who work under the Master. Also known as the Gentleman in-world, but is Slender Man, basically. Each Commune is made up of 6 Inner Circle members and 12 Outer Circle members

The Soul Masks worn by the Chosen and certain other individuals enhance their physical and Theurgic powers. Theurgy is basically magic that those who are untrained cannot see.

The untrained are known as Unaware and it is the general world we live in. The Aware can see Theurgy and a lot of Theurgic creatures, such as Wyrms and Fey.

The Sophia Commune had three important members you need to know about. The first is MechanicalTrees, who was freed from the Commune and is now known as Vadiir. He was freed and taught Theurgy by TurningWords.

ShadowLeaves was their Leader and became very ill. She died letting the Linked (you lot) talk to the Master directly through possession. She has recently been resurrected and resumed her old name Michelle Mason.

HiddenBreeze is Vadiir's younger sister. She was freed when KarmA created a Theurgic Void in Cardiff and has since joined the Rebellion.

That is basically Act I, ignoring the other characters who we can talk about later.

ACT 2

Act II started with the founding of the London Commune, the moving of a large Relic library to London, and the introduction of the Hive, a group of highly trained Theurges under the control of the Master.

Two of the six members of the Hive have died so far, but their leader, HiveTree, is still at large and causing trouble for the Rebellion.

The London Commune has been killed, including notable members WiltedTree and CrimsonBranch, and it is currently reforming with new members. It will be reintroduced on the 12th.

Darkness and the Laughing Clown are two people that are incredibly powerful and form their own team, helping the Rebellion rather than fully joining it. Their origin is currently unknown, but there are theories. Ask later.

HiddenBreeze is now going by her birth name, Alexis Morris, and is in the Rebellion with KarmA, Michelle and Vadiir.

Crashdown is an important future event that is coming up. It is being measured in Events that lead up to it. Event One was an Earthquake in London and Event Two was the battle that ended the London Commune.

That is basically everything so far, but each thing can be delved into further.

It's not an ARG, it's a recruiting process!

Yeah, the thread's a bit confusing if you're brand new. We usually send new people to the OOG chat room and answer any questions they may have there. As for the ARG itself, the links to the various blogs and Twitters and YouTube channels are on the first page of the thread. The best way to get into it is probably to drop in on a chat session whenever we're having one, someone usually tweets if we are.

There's always room for more Linked~
