Space Ambassadors
This ARG is for people who work in and around the space industry.

I don't know that the NSS (National Space Society) meant this to be so ARGish but It more than qualifys. The only way to play the game they have setup is to actually be in the space industry. I have to admit that the prize is cool for who ever win or is a runner up in points. Here is the E-mail I got announcing the start of their game.

Great news Space Ambassadors!

It's now time to begin the long awaited journey as a Space Ambassador. Effective immediately the Space Ambassador program is now underway. Go to http://www.spaceambassadors.com and register for your secure login and password. There you will activate your personal account where you! will upload all your information each time you do a presentation to credit your account. This is where we tabulate your points and presentation information. This website also has research links, sponsor links and tools you might wish to use and will be updated frequently. When you login and go to my account to upload your presentation data into the system, please note the referral number you have been assigned. This is very important. For each new member to NSS as a result of your presentation you get an additional point in your account. The new prospective member must enter your r! eferral number on the application to join at http://www.nss.org in order for you to get credit.

Your first challenge as a Space Ambassador if you wish to accept this mission is to conduct your first presentation before the beginning of the International Space Development Conference starting May 18th.

For those of you attending the conference in Huntsville, Alabama this year, we wish to invite you to the Space Ambassador reception there on Saturday afternoon, May 21st at 4 pm. We look forward to meeting each and every one of you. It is very exciting to know that one of you will be going to space in the not too distant future.

Weren't there "space ambassadors" in the V series?

not quite, the humans in "V" were called Peace Ambassadors.
