Car Vinyl

I know there were a couple of you out there who can do vinyl... My question is are they good for windshields and paint?

I'm getting tired of having Encom plastered on my car and want an upgrade.

Looking to duplicate the DUMONT SHIPPING logo for the tops of my front windshield and/or rear window. Plus add "a subsidiary of ENCOM" over the bottom center of the back window. and maybe a little some thing for the sides.

Any ideas/suggestions/offers for help would be greatly appreciated.

If by "Good for" do you mean "Does it damage?" (nothing really is good for paint Very Happy) then typically the answer is no, they are car safe, but if you look locally you can find tons of places in our area that do them.

Just look up "vinyl vehicle wraps".

Oh, one caveat though with car wraps. I've heard (never seen since I don't have anything on my car) that if you're doing a wrap that only partially covers the car you may notice a ghosting effect when the stuff is removed from the painted areas after so many years.

yeah that's due to fading or being protected from sun & contaminants. I don't mind there. Planning to get a new paint job soon.
