That Evan cameo was pretty cool, but I got really excited when Dir en grey was playing in their car. (They're my favorite band.)

This has been a meaningful post!

So, I know I'm very late to the party, but I was looking for a new Slender Series to follow, and wanted to know (even though you guys are most likely biased) whether this one is any good or not?

Just marathoned what they have up so far. I like it. Loved the Evan cameo as well.

Just as with EMH, once again the SM videos come near me. Hamilton is like less than two hours drive from me. Probably close to an hour and a half with good traffic.

Why was the backdoor open?

Kind of concerns me.

I was in the same position as you and was putting off watching this for awhile but have been following it for about 2 weeks now and am so glad I did.I don't think I'm biased,as I am 46 years old and base my opinions on more objective things.Of course--every series has it's pros and cons--as does this one--but in my opinion it's very well done and some of the effects are top notch and there is one moment in particular where something happened that truly had me with my hands to my mouth--and I am a horror FREAK.
I would say to give this a go and be patient because, like most of the other series,it takes a good 3-5 entries to set itself up.There are also things explored in here that are very different from other series--refreshing.
Give it a go!! Cool

mokie mentioned this already, but i just want to highlight this bit:

the inclusion of music from (and references to) labyrinth is rather inspired. after all, it IS about an infant stolen by a supernatural creature (in this case, the king of goblins) and his (temporary) caregiver's attempt to get him back before it's too late.

i'm gonna do a bit of flailing here and speculate that it may be more foreshadowing.

Nice catch.

Also, I did notice the back door being open for unexplained reasons, but didn't know if it was intentional or not.

my opinion is probably superfluous now, but my two cents? it's my favorite of the newer vlogs. i wasn't sure at first, but by the fifth video i was convinced that these girls have not-unimpressive acting skills, and by the time the baby came into it, that they have a solid, inventive story going. i only started following this week--like some others, i put it off for awhile cos i was wary of newer, possibly-lower-quality vlogs--but i'm hooked. aside from the aforementioned points, the characters are people i find myself caring about, moreso than a lot of the protagonists of other vlogs/blogs. you get a sense that they're people, y'know? it's neat.

and just so this isn't totally about my love for this vlog, i'll say that i figure the open door is probably nothing to freak out over. probably. either one of the girls opened it to root around for change/food, or they were resting in the back.

Whoa, new symptoms of slendy-sickness?

I wonder if her mom suffered from the same thing.

Well damn. Coughing up black blood?

I'm going to blame our beaked friend for this, what with the hood. And between the fire and her mom being sick, something tells me Slendy has knows Aimee for a while now.

Also...

I don't think that was our bird friend.

Kinda of looked like a regular guy in a hood.

Maybe her brother is a proxy now?

Might not mean anything but that black stuff she was coughing up seriously reminded me of Vinny from EMH back in the storage bin.
Cool

It's the same black stuff that she found on the picture of her daughter. Surprised

1. After all of this, why would you separate outside, exposed, at night?

2. Two mysterious hooded figures this week. Hoodies: the latest in villainous cohort fashion!

3. Can I be the first to throw this one out?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I bet it's Possessed Amy.

(Not really, but it seems kind of obligatory.)

The description says that the thing SPAT THAT STUFF IN HER MOUTH. And then SHE STABBED IT WITH A KNIFE. And the knife is gone.

So...supernatural poison? Are they trying to get to Dahlia through TJ?
