Is MH dying slowly?

Because fuck. It feels like we dont get anything anymore. Its way past suspense now, its just a pain to wait so long so many times in an important part of a series. Honestly, at first i liked the little no-info twitters and the suspense building filler entries, but seriously? Its week after week and I feel like it hasnt gone much of anywhere this season. If Troy cant keep the series up on a level to which the audience can enjoy, its pointless. So I ask, is MH becoming a background thing, something fading from thought? Because it is for me.

I sort of had the same feeling near the end of Season 1 until Entry 26. But IMO, I enjoy Season 2's buildup so far, and I feel like it's going to pay off in the end. And yeah, it is taking a while for videos to be posted, but you do realize that Troy, Joseph, and Tim have college, work, and whatnot. They're not doing it to piss everyone off.

Indeed. The horrors of the wait between 22 and 23.

Not to mention the added hassle of getting the season 1 DVD off the ground. I was surprised and impressed that they managed to release an entry the same week they launched the DVD.

What season have you been watching? J loses his memory, finds archived tapes of his missing seven months, realizes he's already found Alex and unmased Tim, and that forest walk? Come on. I mean you'll get a few short entries either of investigation or discovering a new location, but there've also been several game-changers in the mix as well.

I'll say that I watched all of S1 in one continuous stretch in about 2-3 days. I started S2 from the first posted video until now, real time. Going from the information overload of watching an entire season to waiting weeks at a time, they both have their pluses and minuses.

Good things about watching a season real time:
Speculation is fun!
You get the benefit of the twitter feed!
Hanging out with people on the boards is fun!
Suspense! (And love-to-hate irritation!)
It's easy to match up the TTA entries in their appropriate places (A problem I had in season 1, until I found the wiki)

Bad things about watching a season real time:
Waiting, waiting, and waiting.
Sometimes you can forget the story or get your facts muddled.
Entries are usually posted laaaate at night (east coast)

So, as you can see. Watching real time and watching an entire season in one go have their own advantages. If you don't like the weekly waiting, then it might be in your best interest to wait until the end of S2 so you can just watch it in 1-2 days. Personally? It isn't any different than watching a network television show with one episode a week, so I don't mind.

I can't even believe this thread is serious. O_o Season 2 has been a million times more consistent AND has had more stuff happen than season 1. I know a lot of people who think MH is getting worse and worse, but not because of the schedule.

So what you're saying is that last season this unfortunate event happened. And if some people feel the wait is becoming too long again may be in some sort of cycle... or loop maybe, of some negative emotion, like unhappiness.

It also may be that they have matured... or you might say, grown up.
