4chan interesting post I found this post that seems interesting.
So I was on 4chan and was browsing, when I came upon a thread that had an interesting picture.
It wasn't interesting like you might think though.
here it is if I can get it to work.
edit:
Here is a plaintext dump.
GOOD AFTERNOON 4CHAN COMMUNITY,
IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT THIS FORUM
HAS GAINED A REPUTATION FOR, TO PUT IT BLUNTLY,
UTTER RANDOMNESS. IT IS IN THIS TYPE OF
ENVIRONMENT THAT WE BELEIVE PEOPLE OF GREAT
INTELLIGENCE CAN BE FOUND. THIS MAY SEEM
COUNTER-INTUITIVE, BUT BEAR WITH US. THE MIND IS
A DIFFICULT THING TO MEASURE BASED UPON
OUTWARD COMMUNICATIONS. GIVEN STRUCTURED
PRACTICE, EVEN THE MOST FEEBLE MINDED CAN SEEM
INTELLIGENT. THEREFORE, THE MORE FEEBLE-MINDED
ONE IS, THE GREATER OUTWARD STRUCTURE THEY
CRAVE. 4CHAN IS THE VERY ANTITHESUS IF THIS. OUR
ORGANISATION HAS DEEMED BEING ABLE TO MENTALLY
HANDLE CHAOS AS THE PRIMARY QUALITY IN THOSE
WE SEEK TO JOIN US. HOWEVER, THERE ARE THOSE
AROUND YOU WHO DON'T SHARE YOUR MENTAL
ABILITIES. THE REWARDS AND RISKS OF OUR
ORGANISATION ARE GREAT, SO WE ONLY ACCEPT THOSE
WHO GO BEYOND THEIR FELLOW HUMAN BEINGS.
THEREFORE WE HAVE CREATED A LITTLE PUZZLE IF YOU
WILL. THIS IMAGE IS NOT AS IT SEEMS AND THE TEST
HAS ALREADY BEGUN. THE KEY IS ALL AROUND YOU.

'The key is all around you.' sounds like it references either the one other instance of the word 'you' or the letter. But god help me if I can pick anything out of either idea that makes sense.

Oh great one, forgive my newbishness, for I know not the way. What's "steg" mean?
EDIT : Nevermind. I feel kinda dumb for not knowing that.

For what it's worth, both "Believe" and the second "organization" are misspelled. (spelled "beleive" and "oranization")

I tried de-Camoflaging it with passwords 'Anonymous', '4chan', 'Legion', 'key'. Nothing.

I'm raising a warning here, since images from 4chan have a nasty tendency to turn into viruses if you save them as a different extension and run them.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
This one looks like the 'solution' is to save it as a .air file, BUT THATS PROBABLY NOT SAFE. .air is an executable if you have adobe, and given the source of this, that likely means this is a virus.
Of course, I haven't tried that, so it may be a legitimate puzzle. Just be careful.

Hm, good point, Yorith.
I wish I had better virus software, I'm afraid to run it now :/
EDIT: Did it anyway, though apparently I didn't do it right. I saved the image as a .air file, then tried to run it and got this message:
"The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author."
Anyone else get anything out of trying to desteg the file?

Definitely be careful on this one!
I personally think it is stegged, so we shouldn't have too much to worry about, but still, use common since and if you feel there could be an exploit, run a virtual machine with the software needed so it can't affect your main system.

Looking at the file in a hex editor, I don't believe renaming the extension will get you anything. The file ends with the standard closing JPEG tag. If it were masking another file, there would most likely be extra data appended after the tag. For the same reason I can also see it is not Camouflaged, but this doesn't rule out another form of steganography.

I've played with the colours and split to various channels, can't seem to find anything either...
