[Trailhead?] Overenthusiastic Doctor Who fan?
Or possibly a new ARG?

Every now and then I like to browse Tor.com, where they do some weekly Doctor Who-related coverage. I saw something interesting in yesterday's post, and I'm mildly embarrassed to say it screamed "ARG" to me:

5.) Someone in Boston is looking for The Doctor. Any iteration will do, Ten preferred. Hat tip to Tumblr user Matt Loves Comics for photographing the telephone pole flyer.

Now I remember the early 2005 seasons were pretty ARG-heavy, though not so much the current Steven Moffat seasons (to my knowledge at least). Am I just overreacting? Could this just be some clever Who fan trying to liven up Boston?
