Episode 7

So far, I've just gotten off the 5 line at 42 st, which puts me at Grand Central Terminal.

Honestly, I really don't think there's much in episode 7. If we take the ticker in episode 3 seriously, then the 'homages' are all red herrings that we should ignore. Practically every 3rd line in this episode is an homage to the Aubrey-Maturin series by Patrick O'Brian, either through a book title (Treason's Harbour, The Yellow Admiral, The Thirteen Gun Salute, The Wine-Dark Sea) or a significant event (lightning striking the ship: "Go ahead God, strike the ship with lightnin'")

So what's left? talk of ghosts, ghost stories... as it turns out, Grand Central Terminal is quite well-known for its ghosts!

In what seemed to me to obviously be some sort of clue, Mulligan says "I'm standing right next to the chairs", the whole "chairs" bit seemed kinda random. Turns out there are some famous chairs 'down below' in Grand Central:
Corian chairs

Anyway, if anyone thinks there are other clues that don't reference Aubrey-Maturin, please feel to post them. I think this episode is mostly to throw people off if they don't catch the homages.
