 		I noticed some people seem to think that the figure's arm is bent strangely, which makes me remember...

Didn't Alex get stabbed in the arm earlier in the entries? I mean, it's possible that particular entry (when Masky was shown to be Tim) was /before/ this, but maybe that's something to think about.

Plus, it looks more like the front is an open hoodie rather than a suit jacket, to me.

Also, if the idea of Jay being under The Operator's control is correct, why would he be stalking Jay and not still going Alex?

(To be honest, I don't trust Alex at all. Perhaps it's because we've been seeing everything from Jay's perspective, but Alex is the sketchy one to me, especially after the forest monologue about murderers/child molesters.)

(Then again, Alex might be dead now, considering the blood found on the rock in the tunnel area.)

Also, I wonder if the guy Jay met in the forest is significant at all, or if he was just there to be creepy.

As for distortion... it seems to me undistorted. Instead, it looks like what happens when you try to record in a dark area: it gets grainy and unfocused. I've noticed someone saying that they've used blur like that in other entries, but could you remind me? The only blur I remember was much, much stronger and accompanied by visual tearing.

And I wonder if Rosswood Park is the park we see in enttry 37.

From what I see, enttry 37 is in someone's backyard and at a house. I don't think Rosswood Park is anywhere in it.

Also I think that was most likely Alex/Jessica. It looked like it had hair, about as long as Jessica, but I can't tell with the bluriness. I also think it might be Alex because that's about how tall Alex is. (I'm basing that off of that the trunk seems about the size of an SUV or Jeep)

Huh. After checking it, it /could/ be. I'm unfamiliar with that sort of fence being used to restrict backyards, where I'm from, though.

Yep. Also here's my own theory on the matter.

So, I've seen a lot of "It's Jessica! It's Slenderman! It's Alex! It's Jay from the FUTURE!" sort of thing flying around. I've got something none of you have even considered. Before I reveal it, let's look at the evidence.

    -The gentlemanly hand-on-chest gesture. It's a sign of respect, as if he were a butler bowing to someone; he bends at the waist, not at the knees. He's not hunching, he's bowing in a gentlemanly manner to Jay.

    -He walks off without pestering Jay. You could say that this is because Alex/Tim/Slenderman/Jessica/Sarah/Brian/Seth/ToThePark/Jay's mom/Jessica's mom/Slenderman's mom/Rocky is stalking him, but I propose that the figure left so as not to bother Jay's rest.


Clearly it's Splendorman. Now you may try to argue that there aren't any colored spots on the suit, but consider the following options:

    -He may have had to take the spotted suit to the dry-cleaners and this was all that was left.

    -The rest of his dots could have fallen off on his way to Jay's car.

    -He may have wanted to surprise Jay by making him think he was Slenderman when he was actually Splendorman.

    - Maybe I'm wrong Scratch that, that's impossible.

    -Maybe there are multiple Slendermen, and Splendorman is the outlier, the rebel, the one Slender to go against them all by spreading joy and happiness instead of lurking in woods being a creeper. He switched to a non-dotted suit because the other Slendermen would come after him if they saw him trying to cheer up their prey.

"But he doesn't walk like Splendorman!"

    -The last time we saw Splendorman, he was walking on grass. This time he was walking on concrete. This changed his walk a bit.


Think about it. With everything Jay's been through, why wouldn't Splendorman want to spread around a bit of cheer? He just picked the wrong time to try to do it.

At this point I really don't have anything to add to the who it is discussion, and I keep waffling back and forth anyways. I personally am just going to wait for TTA's video, and catch up on more EMH.

You make a great point, akly, but you have missed an important plot point: Splendorman always turns in to bed early!

This is an excellent point I hadn't thought of. It may very well have been Alex outside that car after all.

 		Haven't seen this mentioned, so apologies if it has been...

Sidetone - The talking bit there is Alex's answer-phone, as we learn in #39. Could we assume that whoever TTA is, has access to the tapes before J did, and took the audio from that?
Or is it more likely that TTA has, at some point, phoned Alex?... or IS Alex...

It wouldn't be difficult to get a hold of Alex's number (IG) if you knew him, and then just phone the number anonymously to get the voicemail.

A personal theory I like is that TTA is the Operator himself, and he picked up the sound on electronic waves or something.
