this new page seems to be only one of 2 paths..

the new page has a comment:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There is still much that must be done, this is only one pathway

I wonder where the other path leads (sevensistersmeadow)

Your true to Bhanrioghain faite Ireland
In a city fond of poetry! purpose Ulster
If cold weather on a mountain ridge,
The heart dilios gradhach
Mac Adnaimh Reibeard

I didn't come up with anything better than Google, I've asked a few people that should be better at Gaelic poetry to see if they can make any more sense out of it.

I welcome the kingdom of Ireland,
Something about the different frontier of ulster
Then Something about the weather beaten (worn) mountain tops (Crown of the mountain)
Fourth line is madness. 'Is' is the only word I understand or have ever seen. "dilios" doesn't even seem irish.
Then the 5th line is a name.

Actually I'm not sure the translation is all that important, Writer's Square is full of poetry quotations inscribed on the paving stones and each stanza on the new page seems to be a different quote from a different paving stone in the Square.

Here's another translation from a Twitter friend more versed in poetry:

You're very welcome, Queen of Ireland
to the Ulster province's learned city
Though the top of its mountain may be stormy and cold
its heart is loving and loyal

You're right, the translation wasn't important...but I quite like that last version!

An interesting page:

http://www.navaching.com/swest/pleiades.html

Here the pleiades are referenced as a morning star..

Danika, the second name of Ana, also means morning star.. a name her dad insisted on... coincidence?

I have been delving into the writing of carson and I noticed one thing...
the key was found in a book about the cattle raid, with a bull on the front..
We also had a reference to minos, therefore the minotaur..
the minotaur was located in the centre of the labyrinth of Minos..

Looking at the work of Carson, the irish for no (which cover surprisingly shows the map we are looking at all the time) where the ruins of the smithfield market suggest a minotaur at the hearth of belfast..
I think we need to have a look at the smithfield market... what do you guys think about it??

Just a couple of quick thoughts, unfortunately I cannot devote as much time as I would like to this game. This whole cattle/minotaur/smithfield riddle also seems intruiging to me.

The documents Ana had with her when she met Richard, note that "the leg of the bull" is Meri's symbol, Meri being "the mirror star". I tried a while back to find the shape of that bull's leg on some of the maps provided by invisible belfast, but unfortunately the resolution was so bad, that I couldn't check properly. If I'm right that this could be a building's shape, I would bet that its near Smithfield.

I've never been to Belfast, so I found this website interesting, saying that: "Royal Avenue and High Street may have been the 'centre' of Belfast but Smithfield was the heart, and its little lanes the main arteries of that vital organ. This guy even mentions Havlin's locksmith as being the oldest existing Smithfield trader, but maybe that's too literal Wink

He also mentions the Seven Stars pub as one of the oldest Belfast pubs. Could that be worthwhile checking out? It could be the place where Ana's dad met this writer. Quote from the website (right sidebar, under old Belfast pubs): "Seven Stars, High St, near post office (see 13 Administration), site unknown. 1739, 1758, 1771 (BNL 1.6.1739, 25.7.1758, 14.5.177 1)."

Lastly, I haven't been able to figure out the password for sevensistersmeadow.html yet, but just in case anybody wonders about the painter of that image, it was Elihu Vedder, but that "knowledge" didn't help me either Rolling Eyes

I've transcribed it as some people where having trouble with the audio (i've put it on the wiki too)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Ana is gone. You're not going to see her again until this is all over … if she makes it through. Ana is with us now, going through the necessary rites. If she is meant to be the protagonist, we'll know it by Sunday evening. If not … well. Let's hope she's the right one after all.

You may have guessed by now that I'm Jack Sellars. You already know I'm a member of Ciliaris Arts Group. I'm sorry I had to lie to you about my involvement with [in]visible belfast, but such things are sometimes called for. You'll eventually find out everything you need to know about us.

I will go ahead and confirm what you already know: Merope Cain never existed. There was a Mary Cain from Ana's childhood, she is dead. We found out about Ana's past, and invented a girl named Merope, or Meri, to befriend Ana from afar, in the guise of her childhood friend. To follow her movements through various interfaces, to keep tabs on her life, to remember details that we would use later. And then, we used Meri to subtly encourage Ana to come back to Belfast.

Many of you have contacted me to find out whether Meri was real or imagined, and the truth is, she is both. Meri Cain is half our creation, half Ana's reality; Meri Cain was our tool for debstabilizing Ana's ideas about reality, to force her to consider her story as overlapping and intertwining with many others. Who of us is one hundred per cent real, anyway? Meri Cain served her purpose.

I know what you're thinking, and the answer is no. I am not invisible belfast. I am not at the centre of things. Your search isn't over yet.

Good luck.

@seahorse invisible belfast just kinda gave us the seven sisters password in the end with a very obvioius clue on twitter. I don't think any of use would have come up with the answer otherwise. It was:

well.. it seems to be over.. the sound was lacking for the finale, so a lot of questions are still unanswered.. All participants got a nice pin, I hope they will send them out to out of country participants as well Smile

A nice game, and I hope we will have a PM chat for the lessons learned..
