Primer Me and Yanka have compiled a basic primer for this ARG, so from now on, if someone posts a "what's going on here?" question, or if there's a lurker reading this who feels overwhelmed by the amount of info out there, send them here. I'll try to update it as much as I can.

Ugh... I JUST did something very much similar to this (ironically, at s88078665.onlinehome.us, also a 1&1 hosted 'site').
But yours is much better! Great job, guys... and uhh... girls...
Gotta love that 1&1, huh?

Thanks - and btw, I'm not really mad at you, Peter, despite your torturous cruelty
Hey, how 'bout that, my first smiley. Had to save it for the right time.

Yeah, it's my webspace. 1&1 rules! Woo! I think it's amazing that 26 min after I posted that up there and in the chatroom (not on the boards) I got hit by googlebot. How's that for keeping the web under its thumb?

Wow!!! This is excellent. Thank you. I especially appreciate the hacker info. Good to know that I had at least some of this game right in my head. Y'all rock.

Very well done joebrent and Yanka, one of the best I've seen.

Primer has moved! OK, I moved the primer over to my site so I don't have to mess with Anthrax's site anymore. Sorry it keeps moving around every day.

I will soon be registering a domain for the sole purpose of this ARG, so once I get that up (probably www.metaARG.com or something like that), I'll let you host the guide there, so the URL's not so dang long...
Ahh, the power of 1and1 hosting...

All right, this is way way off topic, but did anyone else notice that they changed the cheese slogan from "behold, the power of cheese!" to "aah, the power of cheese!" For my money, "behold" is way funnier. That kind of pissed me off.
Peter, let me know when you get your site up and running, BriEnigma also offered to host (I guess people hate a long url more than they hate having stuff move around all the time), so whenever me and Yanka update, you'll be the first to know.
Also, I figured out what I was doing wrong on Anthrax's ftp site, so you will be able to get to it there too. There will soon be more primer hosts online than porn sites.

I can't seem to access the primer at the moment... tried all the links from this thread, and the last one I had (which was http://akamai.www.berkleemusic.com/assets/display/873310/873309.html says there is a permissions problem...
Wah!

Are you implying I'm a musical fruit who stinks like crap?
For the record, it's only there to accomodate BriEnigma's Perl program. Go to http://netninja.com/scrapbook/Metacortex/primer/ to see it without having to look at crappy pictures of me and liberal propaganda.
