It's not a narrative choice, Blogger's had some issues. They had to temporarily remove a bunch of blogs past a certain time on all blogs to rectify it - two Kari blogs and a couple of comments will be restored shortly, with any luck.

The author of this blog (a mate of mine) is worried about posting on this thread because of OOG police, but he's losing his wig over IM to me, and I figure since an OOG factor is the only reason they're gone, it can't hurt to say.

EDIT: Aaaaaaand it's back. Well, as of time of writing, the blog posts are, but the comments are not. Give it time...

EDIT 2: And, over a week later, the comments are back. Thanks, Blogger... ¬_¬

Update

Now the girl is missing. I doubt we'll see her again.

Looks like things are really getting serious now.

I just read the latest update, is it safe to assume this Illusions of Man blog is apart of this. It started in May but I have not had time to read it.

My favorite part of this? The fact that Slendy is called "Daddy."

After eleventy-billion blogs and videos and everything, sometimes all it takes to get my full attention is something fresh.

I like this blog. Some are just gos-se, but this one is different, because of Daddy.

I wonder how long Duncan and Halderman have been dead. I am interested in seeing how unreliable our narrator will become as we go forward, he is already showing worse signs of mental degradation than Kari had, and it seems as if he has barely even had his first personal daddy sighting.

What I noticed about this one is that, aside from the headaches, Daddy doesn't seem to have the weird make-people-crazy mojo that your typical Slenderman encounters have. What's driving folks nuts is the sheer pants-staining terror that comes with understanding how omnipresent and twisted Daddy is.

I think it is too early to say that with certainty. The lab tech dude knifed his wife so "save her" so it may be more than the terror that affects them. I think Kari's abduction was too quick to give us any true insight into the effects of Daddy just yet. But the allusions to House of Leaves gives me the idea that we will be dealing with mental degradation with the narrator as the series progresses and might have a instances of a unreliable narration. I wonder what will happen with Kari's blog, if it will remain dead or be used by daddy at some point.

Oops! I forgot about that one. Kind of shoots my perspective on this in the foot (that's too bad--I was into the idea of fear-based insanity)

I'm in love with the image I have in my head right now of Slendy in a Starbuck's, hunched over a Power Mac, typing away furiously with his long, spindly fingers...

This blog is officially terrifying. I'm so glad I bookmarked this.

I know, right?

What's wierd is, I know the author, and he's totally a normal, well-adjusted guy, and a genuinely lovely person to be around, and yet THIS SHIT is going on in his head! Bizarre...

I don't know why, but Daddy's first appearance reminded me of an emo kid standing sideways.

Hey, this could still go either way. I mean, the fear's clearly a major factor in it, but both the lab tech and Simon have started losing it pretty quickly.

The author made some comments on this whole thing over on Slender Nation. It's entirely OOG clarifying of stuff that was only implied in the blog, but it's an interesting take if you're okay with that.

Went over the the other site and checked out his posts about the blog. If he continues with what he is going for, and he was honest, then it seems that it is a combination of insanity and fear. The stuff that was implied though was not very hard to guess, although I will admit the cause of the headaches is something I would never have guessed.
