Alright, I'll get someone to design us a new symbol, thanks for the advice guys. Might be awhile until the series hits the screens unfortunately as we can only film on the weekends and holidays. Hopefully slendy won't be dead by then.

The operator symbol is a damned effective symbol so as long as its used well I don't really mind.

I spoke to the rest of the crew and we decided we're using it to get people interested but will come up with out own symbol for the series.

Haha, nice. I'm hoping our artist friend comes up with something more subtle than that.

A friend of mine is still convinced we should use the symbol because he originally thought it just represented the fact slendy is faceless. I'm still trying to convince him otherwise.

As for the production, it's not going well. We have to many people involved and people are losing interest. I sincerely hope we pull this off.

My biggest issue with people using the symbol is that no one can be sure of what it means right now. Marble Hornets hasn't been exactly clear on what it represents or it's intended significance in the mythos, yet all these other vlogs seem to think they have the right to throw it about as if it's their own creation.

What if the symbol meant some different than what we all thought? Some of these vlogs have put Troy in a terrible position. What does he do now? Should he compromise his original storyline and possibly invalidate some of the clues he's left, or does he maintain his artistic integrity and go with his original idea, thereby invalidating much of the cannon his work inspired.

By using the operator symbol these fan-made vlogs have indirectly affected the course of Mable Hornets, possibly in a negative way.

In short, it's just not professional. It's not professional to go around messing with another artists work. You have to be very careful when working in a mythos. Your all trying to work together to create or refine one immense storyline. If you say anything too definite or use something before you really know what it is, you may end up pissing all over your friend's rug and that rug may have really pulled the room together, man.

Doctor, thank you. You've put the ramifications of using the symbol clearly into my mind. I don't want to affect or be grouped in with MH or any of the other vlogs. I love them, believe me I do. But I want to be able to do something new and that may include doing something that makes no sense in the other vlogs.

It might pay off it might not. We shall see.
