WHEE! This is fun. I just sent in my assignment!
Just FYI I asked them if we can post the pictures to share on our personal websites and the answer was yes so I have my album linked in my sig if you want to take a look at my assignments and comment as fellow members.
Any theories on what's going on with the new post? Personally I have no idea.
Yer pics are really good and well thought-out! I'm afraid people will laugh at mine when they see them :-/

Intriguing... got followed as well recently but passed on it thinking it was an auto-follow bot based on photography keywords signed up, waiting for email.
Looking for a storyline... is there one yet?
I'd say the 'meat' of the storyline is in this blog post: http://amateurphotographyclub.blogspot.com/2011/05/franks-story.html
as far terrible photos... I can't find my digital camera anywhere so I'm going to have to take the photos with my phone. Not ideal, but tbh, at 8m megapixels actually has higher resolution than my camera anyway! Am struggling to get my dog to pose long enough for one of the photos tho...

So I asked Brady if the new dates on the APC site had a typo. They now read 1782-1850, the DOB/DOD of John C. Calhoun.

Joined in on this. Looks interesting. Will finally give me an excuse to use my old Pentax, at least.
May have to go digital for the first assignment, however; three days is not very much time at all to finish this.

Nice work JD yet since they all seem to be reffies to John C. Calhoun #5 across may turn out to be "warhawk".

Thanks! And I'm sure yours are great. I still think mine lack the passion that I really wanted to portray. They feel so cold and uninspired ;.;.

#2 Down is: "Inspiration to..."
I also sent an e-mail to Anna and will post her response when I get it.

#4 Down is "Republicanism" making #13 Across "March" and for #12 Across "Slavery" fits in with #8 Down. TGIF!

ETA: I just realized that our "media liaison" and twitter person is named "Brady Mathews" which is interestingly enough a reversal of the name of the esteemed civil war daguerreotypist who photographed Calhoun. I knew that name sounded familiar >.<.

That's a lovely pic of the future QOE, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon in her wedding dress. Tho Frank added the letter cipher above:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's a Railfence cipher with 2 rails reading:
Then comes marriage then comes a baby in a baby carriage
