I wish I had outgoing friends to make a Slender Man ARG with
You'd think in an art college they'd be more willing to do stuff other than play games.
I had a really great idea the other day for a story, but I'd never get a chance to do it.

AWWW!!! I know how you feel in a way....I am a female adult in a really cool place (mentioned on an MH thread that I took cool pics of where I lived) but can't do anything with them cuz I suck at photoshop and I am a poet/writer and fairly good at art but have no one here to "play" with either and it sucks ass!
I have SUCH a great story I could tell but no one here to film with so it all sits here brewing and festering with no where to go.......
There are many artistic people that live on campus of UNC,but I live in the boonies and don't drive....
So,I guess I'm just answering your post to let you know you're not alone...Not that that helps....

Well until then, enjoy the various ARG's provided here on Uf! Play them, take some hints from them, maybe find some people here who would be willing to do an ARG, the possibilities are endless.

Just so you know, you don't need photoshop to make a slender vlog.

No, you aren't alone. But there are ways around this.
I'm PMing a [non-Slender related] game with about 20 characters, it's just told through blog posts and such, and if I need pictures or something, I have one friend I recruited to help me. If you explain it more as an art project then having to explain Slender Man, just give them the basics and seem passionate about it, people will eventually find you. Hell, maybe even hang posters up around your campus with like "looking for acting talent for an independent film project" or something!
As I've said, it's pretty much just me working on this, but if something happens where I do need a voice for a phone call or a picture for a biography, you just make due with what you have- acting, wigs and masks/makeup to make it work.
[I miss Slender blogs, to be honest. They take a bit more skill, IMO. Conveying information you want through blog posts instead of just having Slendy show up in the background of a video, if you do it right it can be really psychologically horrifying and make you do things diffidently than just the normal distortion/being stalked/ect to set atmosphere and such. It also means you are not limited by budget or even reality (Nothing, No one, Nowhere or whatever it's called is a great example of this, IMO).] But, if you really want your story to be told in video, you could see if any of the actors/techies/thespians in your college would want to be hired for cheap, or even just pad their resume or whatnot.

I know that feel OP, I know that feel.
I have some pretty solid (at least in my opinion anyway) ideas for a vlog (along with knowledge and experience on video editing), but none of my friends are into it. Shit sucks.

I agree. Firstly it is hard to bring up the awesomeness of slenderman, secondly no one actually wants to make the effort. I have quite a few good ideas, and no takers. I has a sad.
